WTH my corp has been war decked because...

One of our corp members kicked his ass while pro was 2 years into this game and the corp was about 1-6 months into this game, but our mate had a better loadout and ship then him though. Now since his ass was served he felted so insulted that now he made his corp war deck us because for a ****ing stabber that had a crappy loadout and even paid for a merc corp to war deck us. Usually you end up wardecced "because you are a miner and we have warships, yarr" or something along those lines. I EVE, you need to expect stupidity, childishness and general pointlessness. Never ever expect anything to make any sense at all until you enter 0.0 space (and even then, it's rare). So is the guy taking it too far? Yes. Anything that can be done about it? No. CCP not only permits this (and things far far worse btw - this is nothing), they glorify and encourage it. Highsec especially is a safe haven for bubblegum pirates, rather than a safe haven for peaceful industrialists. This is how it is, and I doubt anything much is going to change on this front soon. Welcome to eve.

You just need to be smart about it, choose engadments you have chance to win. When no chance, flee and hide... Good scouting is also usefull, know where they are. If you engade 2 enemy, and scout in next system says 10 more reds incomeing, well flee... Dont be dump cannon food, fight smart.

I believe he didnt want to waste the time to fly a few jumps out to get a scanner, so he used what he had available to him close by. We in OCI dont care about fits or kb's or 3 mil. We care about gf's and having fun by taking part in pew. Alot of people on these boards seem to have taken internet spaceships to a more serious level. In so doing they have bled the fun out of the game and unless they are fitted with a max fit and have superior numbers, wont undock to get some action. If people want to play spin the ship because they might lose some fake internet pixels, then go ahead. Whilst making love to your latest EFT build that will pwn us just as soon as your other 30 corpmates get on, you can continue to rage and mock our fits. For us, we'll be in game getting down to buisness, winning at Eve.

Some people view war dec's as a curse, and opt to inflict massive boredom on themselves by employing the classic "bore them to death by not undocking" strategy. Other people view it as an opportunity for fun and excitement (or an opportunity to learn at the very least) regardless of whether they win or lose.
