MORE! While this is great stuff, I wanna read more about all of the cults springing up around the galaxy who worship us pod pilots. Is Viceroy's autograph worth anything? Is Joshua Calvert on the cover of Caldari Teen Beat?! -

Viceroy's autograph is worth tremendous amounts among those aspiring to the pirate profession, though pod pilot trainees at the more upscale institutions would do well not to get caught in the possession of one. This does not stop them from exchanging his GalNet one-liners in hushed tones at the back of Hydrostatic Acclimatization class.
Mr. Calvert, much like his mythical namesake, has the adoration of girlies from New Caldari to Kulheim. While he is not known to have done any modeling, fake nude photos of him regularly surface on disreputable feednets. Caldari Teen Beat have tried to reach him for an interview on more than one occasion, but every time they thought they'd tracked him down he'd gone and joined another corporation.
And to answer your question: yes, we have more of that stuff on the way. You guys just keep being the larger-than-life characters that you are. |

Awesome story. I'm still confused why the Raven is the newer ship when ingame it says the Scorp is only a prototype.

Quote: The first Scorpion-class battleship was launched only a couple of years ago, and those that have been built are considered to be prototypes. Little is known of its capabilities, but what has been garnered suggests that the Scorpion is crammed to the brink with sophisticated hi-tech equipment that few can match.
They are "considered" to be prototypes. A design that is never finished probably. It doesn't say it's older

A couple of years generally isn't ten years plus.

I think it would be kinda funny if some dude in a Gankageddon showed up at the final battle, said, "Holy hell! I wonder what kind of loot that thing drops?!?!", and just totally WTFPWND the Raven prototype... -

Great new chapter, can't wait for the next one.
hey Sel, how about using your movie making talents to turn this novella into a short film? The space battle/flight sequences should be easy enough, the in-station stuff might be hard tho - maybe riz can do his thing with them...
I'm happy to take part as the 'specialist' that gets splattered :) ----------- "Remember people: Omber is the biggest evil ever created, DO NOT let it get to you!" Waagaa Ktlehr, BDCI

Edited by: Rafe Waddo on 20/01/2005 21:00:22 Love the story so far, though I think it's a bit odd that the description of the Scorpion-class says it's a very new spaceship. The Raven-class would be ³bernew then. Guess the description of the Caldari Navy isn't exaggerated.
POSSIBLE SPOILER:
I think what the final story twist is going to be, after I looked up Ishukone's corporation info. END SPOILER
