I'm happy for you that you gave the game a chance. If you try all sides of the game you will see there is a ton of stuff you can do and have fun. Your first video had me going this chick is a nub (just need direction from the right player) . I've happen to met alot of women who play eve and they cant get enough of it.
Keep your mind open. Ingame fitting is just one thing that makes eve better then any mmo.It's the do it your self factor and OMG rush in pvp factor.
All I can say is keep up the good work and train minmatar or amarr gallenete was so 06.On that note reseach corps before you join them. Make sure there what you looking for and are ok people(some corps will steal your stuff and kick you)

I am not sure how anyone posting any of their opinions with the want of gathering a response couldn't be considered attention-wanting or, with the negative connotation, whoring. I keep my ego in check for sure, and so pride isn't really something that I exhibit. I do not claim to be something I am not nor do I think I am important. The self-indulgence is more like keeping an online-journal that is subject to multiple interpretations. I read a lot of sci-fi and I studied the sciences primarily in my undergrad. Honestly, I wish I had started playing EVE when I was in college as then I wouldn't be as far behind.
I am sincere when I say I appreciate all the comments, for what they are worth :D

Glad you like it Mintchip I been palying eve for like 6 years now I think, I tried Wow I tried War but after awhile they all get boring however in Eve it doesnt, and the queued skill training means you dont have to play a whole lot to get somewhere, where in Wow you do
And in eve theres a whole universe out there of polotics epic 2000 man (if not laggy) battles and the outcome can affect almsot everyone in the game, where in WoW you just dont get that same feeling
Btw gallente ships rule I am pretty much max specced out for gallente been flying them for a long time. Wait till you can start flying a Deimos there hella fun and one of my most favourite ships

You really don't... I started playing eve at the end of 1st year of my undergrad, between then and now (third year), there is quite a strong correlation between my battleclinic rank increasing and my grades decreasing....
That aside while I don't find the content of your videos all that interesting, I respect you for taking a shot at it nonetheless, despite what the trolls say. Also unlike 90% of the internet you can actually articulate well, speak proper english and post decent counter arguments, so props for that. All of you folks that are amazed or happy to finally see a chick playing EVE... you're aware that the chairman of the CSM is female, right? And she used to run a corp that consisted of nothing but females.
That said, this game has a dearth of female players, and it is nice to see another female interested in playing and contributing to the community.
To say that the community has a number of bitter trolls is an understatement, but regardless: keep up the good work, and keep improving the quality of the videos.

I may be new to eve, but I am not new to gaming nor to the internet :) I enjoy the attempts to troll me but unfortunately some are lacking orginality or class. I think most of you are pretty hilarious one way or another <3
I think eve community may be a little behind in the "how to handle female players" department in reference to trolls, but I think a new era is upon us. ooo.
There are tons of really skilled interesting people who don't take gender into account, as well. I think they are just more civilized and accomodating - and therefore aren't as prodominately seen here.
I feel my 2 eve videos are lacking in what more I'd like to be saying - If you do not want to hear what I say, please do not watch :) I would hate to waste anyone's time; so remember that your time is your own.

If you have El'tar/count montercarlo/garmon as your teacher you probably have one of if not the best I know of in EvE to teach you pvp

Well Miss Mintchip. The best trolling in this game have come from old Goons, like 3-4 years back. But their mistake was that they used the same thing over and over and over.. so it got real old in the end
I was acutally told that they had a "folklore" about me.. lol.. I'm sure it was good..

We are many female players in this game.
Maybe your just in the wrong part of the game,to notice us..
Or maybe you just "think" that every player in this game have a male behind the toon you see in space/ local/ channels.
When I started this game, I heard that a lot of the female players didn't want to speak on ts/ vent/ mumble, because they didn't want to get judged, because of it.
They wanted to prove themself as a player and pvp'er, before they told anyone that they were a female..
THAT my dear Sir.. is messed up..
But I do understand they did it.
I myself was lucky.. my ex boyfriend got me into this game, he was CEO of the corp I joined and the guys in it took good care of me. Steering me in the right directions and made my noob life a good life.

I have met a lot of Female players in this game and have been killed by many female players in this game, I have never once looked down on any of them, and always treated them with respect. For a female to jump into a game dominated by males is pretty ballsy (sorry couldn't think of any better words) so I don't know why so many men are complete ***s like they are towards women, they must be gay or butt hurt they can't get a gf.
Good on ya MC keep it up, your threads have been entertaining and interesting the whole time

Sometimes I swear, sometimes I don't. I haven't really put any thought to it - so neither should you... lol :P
ps - It's so interesting that people put significance on things that were insignificant. I feel like a pretentious film or something :P

I'd say the avatar looks like its on drugs with not enough sleep and an oversized mouth with the cheeks of the little puppet of the SAW movie.
