I fully agree with Latex's excellent post. It is absurd that a futile act such as webifying a gate will get you BBQ'd, but yet you get no love on the kill mail for sitting in a bullseyed Blackbird doing the same thing to an uber tanked Apoc. Show us some love CCP.

Being a Scorpion pilot myself I would like to see EW on the kill mail. Many of times that kill would not have been there if it weren't for some good ol' ECM. 
It'll be good for not only for us, but also for the victim as well. They'll see that they had a few more ships there webbing/scrambling, not just the ones that did damage.
I feel like I'm at an EW Anonymous meeting...

i agree, but i was thinking that prolly ew, scramblers, etc aren't on killmail because you can't kill someone with that...
Btw EW is an absolute defensive system, you can compare EW with tanking, with the difference that EW goal is not to reduce the damage dealt on you, but reduce or nullify the damage dealt by your target.

Webbing and warp scrambling someone is not a defensive move, webbing maybe but definately not warp scrambling.

EW is an offensive act, and should be recognised as such on the kill mails.
Often, the only reason you got killed is because an EW ship was sitting there webbing/scrambling you and preventing you from running.
From the victim's point of view, knowing all the people responsible for you losing your ship means you know everyone you need to keep an eye out for in future. It'll also show you just how many people you were up against, not just the couple who were shooting.
From the victor's point of view, corps that pay bounties don't pay out unless you're on the kill mail. If you're doing EW, you are making yourself prime target and risking your ship for no returns. It also gets you recognised by others in your corp when you show up on the kill mails - it proves you were there and doing your job properly to all and sundry.

I totally agree with making EW acts on a target part of the killmail - regardless of the reasons EW was made a criminal act.

Signed. I never do ew, except for tackling once in a while. And when I ew I make sure to platter my civilian gun's ammo all over the target's winshield (not only can't they lock, they can't see either. And it's just nasty) in order to get on the killmail.

Get rid of kill mails and corpses entirely.
You can't win in eve, so it makes no sense to keep score.
You'll see more effective fleetwork when people don't have a killmail competition to propogate.
