Hello all, hopefully the mods will accept this so here goes
I would like to offer help in the graphic design department of eve online, a while ago i tried my hand at some photoshop work with a previous mmorpg (football manager live)and found that i was pretty good (at least thats what the other players said - so any headers for a web site/avatars/signatures or something else related to the game that you would like designed or created for you i would like to offer entirely free of charge help. Personal gain is to simply expand my portfolio and improve my skills with photoshop so i could possibly gain formal qualifications.

Was that file actually used on the website? I'm just asking as a 322kb image should be optimized for the web down to something less than 100kb. It would be better to maybe see the image in context, as in on the site it was designed for to show how well it worked with the overall look of the site itself.

seriously cut back on the cross grain a bit.
meanwhile you can get banner employment easier over at myeve fourm there is a thread for artist like yourself. You wont find me there though becuase I dont do sprucing up prexisting graphics to look presentable.

This is why they should never let graphic artists develop web sites, your banner file size is far too large for a start, it may load quickly on a fast connection but it's still a big part of the page load time. Read up on optimizing images for the web. As for the graphical qualities of your design, I won't comment, I'm a programmer/developer, but if you intend to work in web development you need to learn to save images for the web.
