At best, a knife is a Blaster BC. A handgun would be a midrange BC, a Shotgun a midrange BS, and a rifle a LR BS.
Anyway, the OP didn't say anything about knives until later, and even had he mentioned them in the OP, some criminals aren't willing to take that extra step of stabbing someone in a mugging, so fighting back will stop them (and that's a call you have to make when you see them).

They are also illegal in here, just as mace sprays, but oh boy. I've stopped DOZENS of agressions (to me and others) merely by unfolding it.
They can be unfolded in a fraction of a second with a single whipping motion, and the sight of half a yard of steel popping out of nowhere DOES cool the blood of potential attackers.
Best thing: if you end up having to use it, it's much more probable that you DON'T hurt your attacker severely. If you defend yourself with a knife and end up stabbing the ****er, you'll be in deep crap yourself.
Also, a single blow to the side of a leg (police style) is all that it takes to stop 99% of brawlers out there. I know what I'm saying.

You're an idiot, an extremely lucky one, but still an idiot.
As they had a car, all one of them had to do was lamp you in the face or stab you in the gut, grab the bag, and get sped away in the car sharpish.
Hell, they could have just tried grabbing the bag off you.
Also, drove a few 'blocks'. There's only two towns in the UK that are set up with the block system. I feel sorry for you if you live in Milton Keynes and can then fully understand why you wouldn't want to give up your escape from reality. |
