Why did I download 1,5Gbyte of wasted **, which only gets me an absolute worthless and miserable designed char-editor? The ability of selectings I can do is ridiculous. A few bungle sets of hair. A hand full freaky jackets and trousers with ugly colors which do not match to each other. And why can I ONLY choose clothes like a construction worker? A jacket or waistcoat. Pfft. ! I want uniforms or a suit like business(wo)man. Better Backgrounds. Mybe I could upload my own background. What should I do with useless nebula backgrounds? You havenÆt even implemented the backgrounds from the old editor. WHY?????? The ability of creating faces is also worthless . I tried to recreate my old face (or at least a similar one). IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!! :-( I only got a female which looks like all the others now. I can only choose a fat or slim char. OK as a female char, you are able to choose the size of your boobs too. I was happy to hear, that I am able to recreate my alternative chars some days ago. But it is impossible to get a good looking, unique char TODAY. If I could make a selection, I would have my old face back or keep the ôyou have no faceö picture. -.- And the thing with the 4 pictures at the portrait editor.. is so lol! Wait.. no! Horrible ! What is the function of these four pictures? You ignore your own community which takes the time to test all the pre ** you released on SISI. Proposals how to do it better obviously lands direct in the waste-paper basket, when you pay attention to this at all. Minus 10 to this fail ôpre beta betaö release. P.S.: What do I have to do, to erase my current picture of this char? And let me know how long your grace-period will be. I would suggest to expand it till year 2100 if your devs just won't learn to hear at the community.

Minkahlyn Elystra	Posted - 2011.01.19 11:14:00 - [485] Although I had initial issues with the Mac patch (really bad job on the delivery guys, seriously) I finally got it going. Have had some little trouble with black screen on start up or returning to login screen but otherwise I have not seen any issues in-game. (System for ref on black login screen: Mac Pro 2009 Octocore 2.66 Nehalem, 12GB Ram, ATI HD4870 512MB) As for the character generator...my God guys you really nailed it . Not only is it a dream to use (except where is my ability to go and take new snapshots of character or just go back in to ogle in uber-highres?). The output of this thing is truly spectacular. Great effort!! Love the sculpting interface. I really can't say enough about how well you've done on this. ...but please please please let us go back in and take new "photographs" as we choose (not edit the character, just pose and take a new snapshot)
kradokk zil	Posted - 2011.01.19 11:15:00 - [486] -HI ALL -I dont know why all that negative feedback....well i do know but people are usualy scared from something new,this is a first step of a long prosses,did you want back those ugly portrait from before the patch? lets be positive and help CCP, we are with them building a greater world in EVE univer,i understand some of us were frustrated cose the attachement of their old Portrait, but we have to move on guys as CCP said this is a new ERRA, this will take time before everyone accept it. good luck to all and thank you CCP great job.

Slow, wild hair bugs, and the interface is total rubbish. Give me sliders any day. no tattos, no real racial variation on clothing. And wow, all the characters look the same, imposible to get any variation. My caldari and amarr characters are suddenly twins. Amazing. Waiting for the redo character button, although I have a feeling it will just get worse. Very very sad day, and suggestions made by the users during the beta were completely ignored apparently. My account runs out in 4 days. Maybe for good.

Also, what happened with the new forums? IPB giving you too much trouble? Character creator is the same unfinished garbage that was on Sisi before the patch. Thanks a lot for this mind-blowing, ground-breaking feature that's not as good as the creator in any other modern 3D game. :/ Pilot's Liscence tab in the character sheet is a blatant advertisement rather than a useful tool for oh... I dunno... DISPLAYING THE ACCOUNT EXPIRATION DATE? I'm assuming that this is a bug in the brain of some employee and not the outrageously offensive trash that it appears to be. Please locate and 'adjust' the responsible party. Edit: Oh, and Sisi appears to be broken, since none of the feedback you recieved appears to have had any effect. If you're going for more money I'd suggest shutting down Sisi to save on electric bills.

As the avatars are FINAL (and as many times as CCP has said FINAL) and I really do think they are final...you should have made it much much more clearer that they ARE final and there shouldn't have been any bugs relating to "oh, it takes the wrong avatar, not the one you choose" and so on. Accidents have been made and they are FINAL!! voice of doom. Seriously, I think CCP should add more content to the creator and give us a re-design chance due to the problems that have risen. I'm not saying NOW, but in the future or near future. Perhaps with the summer update of incarna (dunno how many incarna updates there will be), but at least at some point. Basically one could say that the avatars went fubar. The whole thing just "lacks". Even when considering that the patch was 1,2gb...wtf? Those have to be some GIGANTUAL textures in that creator, but it sure as heck doesn't look like it. Even demos from Unreal3 engines and such are the same size with like 1-2 levels of gameplay and models. We have only characters.... I mean, there are MMORPGs out there that are based on your character looks and they look like an Amstrad CPC graphic compared to this. Come on, this is a sci-fi spaceship game not SpaceSims! Even if you want the latter know that although you did not pay for it, you will receive it. And from the looks of it, a superior version of Sims/Second Life. CCP: The thing looks great, maybe it needs some code tweaking but so far awesome. Neocom upgrades please? Yeah you're right we should be propositive... - add colors - add dresses - add preconfigured faces types (not everyone wants to learn how to design a face) - add dresses (different styles) matching with eve careers - re-add tattos - re-add coloured light spots - add an expression shuffle withing the picture shot section actually seems it works only in first part of application and finally make it looking like eve char and not like a general char for a general game!!!

The character creation screen needs an accept box or notice of some kind showing you that the snap shot you have selected on teh left is the one that will be used and NOT the one you have just setup in the main window. More glasses options would be awesome in the character creation screen more hair color choices would be nice to, maybe a color wheel to select the color from?

But thankfully we have to do it either now or some time within the grace period. I mean seriously aviators only? 10 pairs of the same pants with slightly different colors? I understand the creator required a lot of art assets and time. But requiring the entire player base to use what is portion of what will be available to newer players whenever the rest of it is released is annoying. CCP please stop building a feature, releasing it with part of what u wanted, promising to continue on it and then dumping it to the wayside when the next shiny idea comes along.

Auto-Patch and Manual-Patch for Mac Users f*ed up. PI Setups **ed up. The god damn yield went down to 75%. I really try hard to get the same yield as before patch, but nothing works and so my profits from PI go down by 25%, thanks a lot, because now i cannot pay the damn PLEX out of PI anymore. And if this is the last part of the Incursion Patches, where are all the other promised features??? New NeoCom as an exemple.

It needs a few changes, though:- A "reset face" feature on the portrait page would be great, as sometimes we fiddle with the face and can't get it back to where it was. I've gone back to the clothing page to change shirt, and thought "wow, he looks good" and when I go back to the portrait face he's still got that constipated look. A reset button to move all the facial muscles back to where they should be without any modification would go a long way to helping us get better pics! The four pictures on the left need to be at a resolution which is identical to what we will get in the character sheet, so we can see exactly what we're going to get when we click "save". As it is, I've clicked "save" and gotten something which looked slightly different (but sufficiently to annoy on the character select screen. The camera also doesn't seem to be placed properly. I adjust the character as minutely as I can, staring him straight in the eye, and take the pic. It's too small and I can't make out the eyeballs, but it looks about there. I click save, and he's no longer staring at my eyes, and more at my neck or chest. The four pics need to be larger to show us what we're going to get if we can't rely on the big pic in front of us, which will always look awesome due to its resolution! It would be great if we could redo the portraits without having to petition too, yes.. :) Thanks for a great update, though - my entire corp looks better, although it's telling that most of them don't look me in the eye like they used to anymore.

I should have switched to the higher graphics like it told me but my computer was buckling under the pressure already. I will adapt but I will miss my old face, at least evemon still has it for the time being.

However, even after updating the driver for my card I can only see them on the "I lost my contact lenses" graphics settings and I can't sculpt their lovely bodies because I have one frame a second max, which makes me feel like I have all the fine motor control of a 12 month old. Add to that the lag between selecting a hairdo/makeup and actally seeing it.. I have no confidence in the new charrie creator. My greatest fear is having to use it before it is useable, and ending up looking like **** Also, I can't retrieve even a thumbnail of my old portraits using http://oldportraits.eveonline.com/Character/{character_id}_256.jpg because I have never had to find my character IDs so I don;t know them. I tried one method given here http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=843 on the dev blog but it doesn't work :(
