there is lots can be done to facial features while creating as well as the overlays, but what brings it together is the pose and lighting on the mugshot.....
But look at the logic of it, weŠre clones not copies, DNA doesnŠt do metal plates and tattoos does it, scarring is probably down poor clone maintenance or choice of stop date on clone growth.
Now in the future part of WiS probably means Tattoos, Jewellery, bling etc will be isk sinks while providing station content.
However stuff like metal skull plates could be made mandatory modifications showing who crudely implanted pirate implants with intel being a bit more detailed on pod pilots adding to both station and PvP content.

you know the goo eats any dandruff dead skin etc off your nekked body. couple it with there being no dirt in the goo and a good shower every time you exit the pod and you'd need to spend days outside your pod to get scruffy. who spends days outside their pod after all?

It would only take a generation or two before pod-pilots turned into emasculated gooey albinos, where the only "mutant masculine aspect" of them would be their sociopath behavior.
You're lucky your avatar retains any sort of masculinity to be perfectly honest.
Why do people think our avatars should resemble something from Mad Max? Sounds *****. Be happy with what you got you drama queens.
