I see how in the states there is the double standard that nudity is bad, but violence is ok (See our movies!) - but didn't expect it to be like that in Iceland, I thought it was pretty progressive there.

Of my 6 toons (3 toons by 2 accounts) I have one guy with bare chest and 1 female with the standard issue black bikini top.
Whats the issue CCP? Why so prudish?
Also ... no dresses or skirts for the ladies? I mean some toons are sales, industrial or diplo not all toons are combat wombats destined to sit in a capsuleers seat in military pants and puffy boots?
Where's the elegance?
Even Princess Leia wore a dress in the first Star Wars movie, and her moth certainly had a touch of the Haute Coutre about her.

LOL! i was just remarking to myself today how most of the women i see walking around here in central/south california wear about half as much clothing as our avatars were forced to wear... now they are going to be forced to cover up even more?
is there no heating in the space pod?
btw every character in eve is INDOORS ALL THE TIME (space stations <-> space ship) it doesn't even make sense for them to own a jacket let alone wear one.

They've lost the plot. It's only a tiny change but it's totally unnecessary which says a lot about the level of conservatism now present in the company. This does not bode well for the future...

Apart from whatever the hell CCP envisions in terms of the server population's typical look, they probably have to force this to maintain their teen rating for EVE in some of the more prudish parts of the world (the 'cutthroat violence and mass murder is OK but omfg no sex for our teenagers!' parts). Its mostly those behind media ratings that need to get a clue, not so much the game and movie producers.

My fiance made an excellent character shape for my alt, looking scary but with a thigh length dress option and shoes that look awesone.
Then it turned out she had to wear trousers and the dress didn't look so good anymore. I thought children were not even meant to play Eve unless an adult had given them permission?
I'd say let people wear no clothes at all if they want.

It's not that the HUGE Gallente breasts of the former editor were less provocative imo! 
Anyway I don't mind either way, I'm not the bra type.

As CCP has this nice ESRB "Teen | Violence" logo thing going on, why not add, next to violence, "possible thumbnail-size suggestion of the existence of mammaries". That wouldn't throw the ESRB all into a fit, would it? They know that most teenagers are aware of this fact... right?
