Would be cool if you could implement a way to link directly to an Avatars profile.
I love your site, it's a great diversion at work

Adding worked with the ID just fine obviously but the same issue prevents griefwatch from fetching my portrait it seems.

If not, no problem, already filed a petition about it. - Just wanted to see whats known about the issue.

There are two kinds of this bug:
-Like Laura Kingsley you got your character ID returned but the name has " " nothing.
-Like me you get your name returned but not your ID, you get a "0" instead.
But this seems to be fixed on the testserver already: http://apitest.eve-online.com/eve/CharacterID.xml.aspx?names=[yournamehere]

BTW CCP has since fixed the API call issues.
