Officer hunting was my main source of income. Over the years I got about 50 of them. If I can never kill another officer again, this game becomes more pointless to me.

Dude... You've had more officer spawns than the rest of the entire EVE population put together! You've had your fair share!
However, you might want to consider a few things, first of all; I now have one of those annoying sigs.
second; you should probably move on to some more interesting things than reading this sig.

If people are saying the truth,this is unbelieveable.Half the fleet going boom?Seriously..
Not to mention the new gurista jamming mechanics,you will be jammed 24/7 without substantial back up arrays.
Fix officers and guristas ECM please.

Can the people who "never in their eve career have seen" an officer spawn please learn about spawn probabilities in regions ?=)
I can't really stand it anymore tbh.. There are places in eve where officers are almost common...

FWIW, the officers I've seen since "the change" do seem to have sleeper AI (change targets, like to pick off drones and smaller ships) and sleeper-like omni-shield tanks, they neut, they do quite a bit more damage, and I have no idea if they point you or not - I don't get that close for very long.
They are soloable if you can think outside the box of "warp in, turn on tank, spam missiles".

I ran into one of the lower level ones and the tank on him wasn't very good (taken down by a flight of heavy IIs, but he did switch targets between me and my logi alt). Hopefully, the higher level ones are tougher, cause what I fought would be no problem for a bot raven.
