Ezzara and Arzad have fallen to TLF forces. The brutal and steady assault on Amarr Naval facilities over the last few weeks culminated in Arzad with a stunning Minmatar victory in which two Archon class carries met their end. TLF frontline units such as IFW, AA and ROSS continue their dominance on the front while other units are freed up to batter the Amarr Navy and Militia at will and provide the constant pressure needed to free these systems from Amarrian oppression.
We will continue to press forward, for our people and to visit revenge on those that have wronged us and ours. We come for our people, and we come for your blood.

I highlighted the parts that don't work to well together.
If you wish to maintain that the Empire is the oppressor, you may wish to stick to the old 'our people' bit, and not go places you will regret in the longer run.
After all, todays oppressed can easily become tomorrows oppressors, if you let yourself slip down that road.

Are you REALLY trying to warn us about the dangers of power?
Let's not forget who invaded who in the first place, And I can predict what your reply to this will be word for word. "We came to save you from yourselfs" "We came to educate them" Blah Blah
What goes around comes around, would you like us to Educate the Amarr on how to defend your systems because you seem to need help at the moment.
You need to take your own advice about the road the Amarr took as it seems the road for you is about to hit a DEAD end.

How about the dangers of forgetfulness? Perhaps of self-righteousness? Those are fun.
Quote: Let's not forget who invaded who in the first place....
In which millennium?
In this one, your Elder Fleet invaded the Amarr. Had a little something to do with Empress Jamyl's ascent, yes?
Even if I'm sympathetic to an impulse to declare a blood vendetta, when you have two different groups drawing their righteous anger from two different timescales, you've pretty much got a bottomless well of animosity to draw from.
Caldari and Gallente fought for near a century, the first time, with maybe slightly lower levels of acrimony, and that was not a very "limited" war. Here's hoping you and your next four generations of children like fighting the same old wars.
Quote: And I can predict what your reply to this will be word for word. "We came to save you from yourselfs" "We came to educate them"
Yes, that's how they commonly justify it. Annoying, isn't it?
Quote: You need to take your own advice about the road the Amarr took as it seems the road for you is about to hit a DEAD end.
Big words. This war has been going for, what, two years, now, going on three?
And virtually all of them in stalemate?
Gains in this limited war are generally temporary, as are losses, so I'll be impressed if you can make good on your threats.
Mind you, the Elders didn't manage what you're talking about, and they got to play about without CONCORD interference. I hope you haven't planned your party in orbit around the cinders that used to be the Throne Worlds in too much detail.

I donÆt think you should dismiss your failure so glibly.
Just a few short months ago, Devoid was solidly in our control with scattered bands of Minmatar cowering in a few stations in Heimatar. The brave ones would try to camp the path to Metropolis. Arzad is a vital strategic system and holds considerable cultural significance to the Minmatar. Speaking as a veteran of the battles that occurred early last year to gain and hold ôStarkmanir,ö your words are an insult to every Amarr who died to capture and hold that system.
I see now that our enemy isnÆt the Minmatar. It isnÆt the Nation. ItÆs apathy.

My point is that the path to victory is never easy nor simple, but that doesn't mean that the destination will not be reached.
And yes, I do understand that Amarrians have died in the war. Many of them are from my own corporation which unlike KPV is in the militia. So if the real enemy is indeed apathy as you claim, then perhaps you should be asking what your corporation has done to aid the Amarrian cause.

* The Cosmopolite chuckles...
Piquant.
That side benefit of this announcement aside, I can only commend all the Minmatar freedom fighters who contributed to these liberations. It is good news whenever anyone under the shackles of imperialist slavery is freed by the actions of those who believe in freedom.
As to the tired old argument about who started what. It hardly matters. It is a fact that the enslavement of billions of Minmatar was an unprovoked aggression on the part of the Amarr Empire. It is a fact that this aggression has stood, unwithdrawn, for centuries. It is a fact that slaver expeditions with the tacit approval of the Amarr Empire have continued for centuries. It is a fact that slaves who can trace their lineage from those taken in the time of the Day of Darkness lingered still in Amarr hands before the Elder Invasion. It is a fact that some of those still do linger in bondage in the Empire and Kingdom. It is a fact that many taken in the centuries afterward, together with their descendents, are still in bondage. The aggression never ended. The aggression stands.
The facts are simple and plain. Slaves are always in a state of legitimate self-defence and may take any reasonable action to free themselves, up to and including killing their captors. A people under threat of slavery are always in a state of legitimate self-defence against such a threat and may take any reasonable action to defend themselves, up to and including killing those who threaten such slavery.
Let's not hear any more piffle about the whys and wherefores of this conflict. The imperialist Amarr consider themselves to be religiously mandated to take slaves and perpetrate aggressions to that end. Very well, that should be enough of a moral stance for them, if they truly believe their evil creed. Anything more is a thin and transparent attempt to gull the credulous in other polities into standing idly by.

As I said, I've done my time with the 1st Praetorian Guard to take and hold places like Arzad.
KPV did a tour of duty with other milita forces last year and found the Minmatar to be of no credible threat to Devoid and the Bleak Lands while Heimatar and Metropilis were ripe for the picking.
I would like to know how this was allowed to change.
In the meantime, we have secured several low-sec and now null-sec systems along the Khanid border. A strong Khanid adds to the strength of the Empire. Should the milita require our return, we would deeply consider sending our support again. But then, as has been pointed out, we're in the middle of accomplishing things. Minmatar is not the Empire's only border.

An act which achieved two things: firstly it demonstrated the craven stupidity of the Aidonis award committee and secondly, and more importantly, it forever tarnished the record of the Aidonis Foundation and terminally undermined it as an arbiter of what is and is not conducive to peace.
At the end of the day, nobody needs to take a nanosecond's notice of the sotted opinions of credulous (and no doubt crapulous to boot) fools who could so casually overlook the vast and essentially unfathomed record of violence done by Heideran Kador and his minions.

You need to take your own advice about the road the Amarr took as it seems the road for you is about to hit a DEAD end.
What a helpful reply you made here, really.
I am not trying to warn you about the 'dangers of power'. I hardly see where you got that idea from - perhaps your obvious confirmation bias. I was asking your corp-mate and the rest of the Minmatar as an extension to be careful with what you do because if you let yourself get high on any small sense of victory and go out of your way to murder your enemy's people as pay-back for past or present crimes, then any argument of yours about the inhumanity of your enemies will be moot.
ôWe come for our peopleö is understandable even to me, pilot. ôWe come for our people and to kill you allö however, not so much. It only proves that you are no better than what you claim your enemy is.
No, I have not forgotten who invaded who. I watched the news of the Elder invasion from the confines of the Imperial Academy station where I was educated in the ways of the Capsuleer. The invasion of the Minmatar Empire hundreds of years ago? Ancient history, to me.
Oh look, your putting words in my mouth. Very predictable, and not very nice. Matter of fact let me tell you why we invaded you in the first place;
It's our 'thing' to bring enlightenment to the human race, regardless of their willingness to listen, or not. It's not the way *I* would like it to be, but it is how it is, regardless. This has resulted, among other things, in the invasion of ancient times. This has resulted in your complete derailment as a culture and people and now it is your 'thing' to be angry with us. Indeed it seems that many Minmatar define themselves by how much they hate us and want us dead. It's quite sad that for all your talk of freedom from us and our ways you are all still collectively enslaves to your inability to stop hating us. I wonder what your people will do if you ever free all the slaves. I wonder what you will do, with all that hatred.
What goes around comes around, eh? I know perfectly well what you mean. First you started this war by invading us and sending your militia deep into our space and subjugated OUR people, but that was perfectly fine. We all deserve that, after all, right? Back then it was all ôwe will burn your Empire and free all the slavesö etc. etc.
Then we retaliated, re-took all our space, and invaded yours in force. That was not quite as fine by you. The war turned again when the Electus Matari showed you how it's done. Then it turned again, and so on, and if it does now too, one would have expected your collective memory to be a little better. There is no harm in being gracious in victory as well as defeat, and you are neither.
As for your petty little 'take your own advice' I could very well throw that right back a you. My advice to you was 'be gracious and don't become what you fight' and I'm quite confident I have that sorted, for my own part.
You won a few battles and gained some ground. Congratulations. Boast and make your proclamations when you are lounging in the Imperial throne room in Amarr, not before. Should it ever happen, we will know if you proved yourself better than us, or if every Amarrian is dead.

Mm. "Apologist," is it? I'm sure Graelyn and company would be just thrilled to have someone like me "apologizing" for them.
Now, considering that they seem to have largely converted to the Amarrian faith, questions arise about those rescued groups.
Why did they need rescuing, and from what?
Having rejected (or lost) their tribal heritage, are they really "yours" to rescue any longer?
Is there even really a place for them among you any more?
Has the Elder Fleet, in the end, helped your society win free of the Amarr, now that your cities are afloat in seas of Amarrian believers?
Are you asking these questions yourselves? Some of you certainly seem to be....
I talk to you, argue with you, because there's only one thing to argue with the Amarr about, and neither you nor I can likely persuade them.
Us: "Your God is a myth."
Them: "No, He's not."
Wash, rinse, repeat.
It would be very convenient if their idea of slavery as a spiritual apprenticeship were all a front, but it doesn't seem to be. There are probably some serious hypocrites (all right, quite a lot of them) in their midst, yes, but that doesn't mean that they don't actually believe their own theological arguments. Hypocrisy has this way of fooling the hypocrites more than anybody.
So why take their side at all?
Because history is long on human beings and short on villains, especially entire societies of villains, and self-righteous indignation just gives me hives.
And you Republic Matari are so often thick-- dripping-- with moral outrage.
So, by all means, follow that path if you must: murder them. Strike down their slave-takers, slaughter their paladins, pile the streets with the bodies of believers. Burn their temples, blast their palaces, pulverize their cities, take back your own. Let the liberals die alongside the hardliners. Avenge a thousand years of ancestral enslavement and brutality; take the revenge your ancestors dreamed of.
Do all that, then sift all the universe, and you'll still never find a grain-- not a single particle-- of justice.
But humanity will go on, the same as it would if the Amarr did the same to you. No heroes. No villains. Just a lot of self-righteous fools, a lot of dead bodies, and another page in the history book.
... But you, at least, I can talk to without getting in an argument with God.
