Now that haulers are fair game during this event, what's an alternative to them? Looking for a T1 ship and fittings that can have a lot of cargo space but isn't on the kill list.

Funny I'm thinking of auto-piloting around in an itty just to collect some kill rights.

Better roam the belts with tank buffer and t2 salvagers, you'll win more than mining for once ________________________________________________

Good one.
Though, I'm thinking that people will only gank haulers with valuable cargohold. I suppose you'll get a few that will gank any hauler, even a Itty 2, for lolz. But generally speaking, I don't think every hauler will be at risk. ----------------- My own Facebook page Cuz I'm Kool.

I trained all my miner characters into PVP ships of one flavor or another already. Have one 7 mil in drones another with covops5 and my buddy's is currently training Caldari BS5. I'll need to check the pricing on Procurers.... This could be fun.

Use an orca named 'u can't kill me ya noobs' and see if you can get any action. Not sure if they will arse themselves to upgrade from brutix and thrashers to some artypocs and pests though so it might be a waste of time.

Nah don't waste isk or time in that, get a good bs pvp tank buffer+mwd and just search the wrecks, eventually roam with an alt sensor's upgraded to max and pod the guys once concorded

You can get a good cargo space out of a Hurricane, a lot of Salvagers used to use this before the Noctis for this reason. -----------------------------------------------

I've been using a Thrasher for hauling smallish items around, fitted with two expanded cargo hold IIs. Mainly because it's my salvage ship (I'm too cheap to bother with a Noctis yet), but it's also fast, and doesn't jam on stations. As often.
It's good for pretty much anything short of bulk haulage or ship transporting.

Stupid advice. I know it, you know it.
Sure, warp to 0 makes it imposible to kill you when you arrive. But on the other side of the gate you have to aligne 10+++++ seconds and there a competent gang will get you as you are XX km away from the gate to jump back and need said time to get into warp which is FAR more then any tackler need to point you. And a decent (not even great) Sensor Boosted BS will 1-shot you even without point.
So anything except Blockadrunners aren't viable at all. You can try buffered T2s like the Mastodon. But better don't fly alone (RR suport).
T1 BS can be used for hauling. [Typhoon, Hauler] 7*Expanded Cargohold II
Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Magnetic Scattering Amplifier II Invulnerability Field II
whatever [Autocannons/Torbs]
3 * Large Cargohold Optimization I
Drones whatever (ECM?)
5206 m3 cargospace
EDIT: just 4998 m3 cargo but much better tank + drone bonus => Dominix

This'll definitely survive any single gank BS, and it's rare for there to be more then one at any gate.

3 * Medium Shield Extender Photon Scattering Field II Invulnerability Field II

During hulkageddon, i use my noctis for salvaging, i use my hoarder for hauling, and i dont mine anyway. Only the hulks in 0.5 systems are in "real" danger. And comon, if you really want to mine, then spam you d-scan every now and then and look for gank ships nerby, and warp out if you see 10 destroyers or ships, that are usually used for hulkageddon.

An Exequror has 600M3 cargo space and a +10% bonus per level of Gallente Cruiser skill. It has 3 low slots for expanders, so 1865m3 without rigs, if using T2 expanders.

Properly tanked Orca can get close to 300k ehp with just tech 2, that would take quite a few suicide bs.
