If you are referring to the bandwidth problems with people downloading the patch on patch day, overloading the servers, and causing lag in the game - then, what? You expect CCP to pay for extra bandwidth to keep on standby just in case there's a patch? There's more than enough bandwidth to handle the number of players we have on a day to day basis, but if 30,000 people start downloading the same file from the same server at the same time, you're going to get slowdown. The obvious answer is to find mirrors, which have appeared (the game is fine now, at least for me) and use Bittorrent where possible.

No this is no whining session and I still love this game very much. But will the real fanboys please realise things are not done very well a.t.m. Recognishing the problem is the first step to solving it, now and always. Stay in denial of said problems and all one gets are excuses, like its normal. I happen to be a developer with a few decades experience under his belt...most issues i mentioned could be addressed quite simply and quite fast and are not at all complex. Instead they are not addressed, thus people complain because they do feel so ignored. From a business perspective...the game is well paid and having a small dev team is no excuse at all.
Well here you definitely do have a point. Customers do feel ignored, and I'm sure it's not a matter of intent from CCP, who do their best. They are simply swamped, and torn between the difficult stage of remaining a small & friendly "family" firm, and entering the "Big League" of games companies. CCP are a one product company, its one of the main reasons I love this game - because it's obvious to me how much CCP themselves love this game. Niggly bugs aside, it shows through - and it makes a game worth playing. Sure, things are going quite well now, but they hire a bunch of staff to cope with support issues, the online games industry takes a downturn (are you aware of how many MMORPGs get cancelled or shut down every year?) and CCP are left with a big problem.
I don't know what the answer is, but you are right in saying that the questions do need to be asked. And any 3-month old l33t kiddie who tells you you're whining, just isn't seeing the bigger picture IMO.
