By now you all have heard of the massive earthquake that hit Japan and the tsunami afterward which has devastated alot of the country. Since the disaster is so big, I am wondering if CCP will be doing a PLEX drive to help.

No they are not. They are broker than broke with their debt being 200% of GDP at the moment.

As much as this is a tragedy for those involved I'll hang on to my money.
The japanese are the ones who forced on the world the notion that people should live to work, not work to live.
I have no problem standing idle by and watching nature reclaim all of the japanese islands and their perverse people.
Live and let die.

If anything the japanese people may be a superior model but I just won't have any of it. I never said I hated the asian race, just the japanese culture and if you want to look up xenophobia I think you will find japanese people at the very top displaying this.

None, as a matter of fact I come to work even when I'm sick as I lose a days pay every day I'm home sick before any benefits kick in and in part due to the guys being under heavy strain at work already as is with downsizing.
The signal is clear from management, sick too often and you're out, one way or another you'll slip up and it's over for you. So I work sick and got called in on a meeting and were told my hours got shifted to the **** for pay hours since my performance record had been taking a dive from me working sick.

Japan has openly stated that it does not need nor want money. This is to be expected as it is a rich industrialised country, debt aside.
Right now they need trained search and rescue teams, military assets such as helicopters, and dare I say it even more emergency nuclear technicians.
If people feel so strongly about giving to the charities that are sending resources though, I'm sure a quick Google search will turn up local and national charities in each of your respective countries which will gladly accept a real-money donation.
In addition to this they'll be able to claim tax back on your donation unlike if donating via CCP.

I'd fully support this. The organization I work with IRL (a non-profit group helping MR and disabled individuals) has been working on support options. CCP has a track record (apparently :)) for helping those in trouble and it reflects wonderfully on our community.

edit: tbh I didn't even check page 2 to see if someone had already suggested it, I presumed by the fact that there isn't a plex drive on login that no one had suggested it. I don't really understand why this would need to be negotiated. And yes, I have already donated to the red cross directly.

You obviously have no clue of what is happening over there if you think it's a tiny little bit of coastline damage, and you have no idea what the government's financial situation is over there either. I don't see how you can consider a country rich when their debt is 200% of gdp. Granted Japan is only asking for rescue workers at the moment, but things are getting worse there daily. They've had another 2 or 3 earth quakes and I believe 2 or 3 of the 4 nuclear reactors are now about to enter meltdown stage. There's some serious **** going on over there right now. Might want to research a little bit more before making such an uninformed statement.
