How much do you have to be able to tank before you can do a lvl 4 epic without having to warp out?
I did the Gallente one with a golem with about a 500 dps tank but some of the missions required me to warp out like every 10 seconds to beat.

dps varies by ship...t3 like tengu has a lower defence number in eft than say a stupid mad tank like an afk rattler. But tengu doesn't need high defence it speed tanks.
Did you run the overplayed omnitank or did you go for rat specific? Omnitank has it place ( actually don't hate omni...jsut prefer type specific where its a better fit)...but if you have an enemy like say gallente who seem to be 60% KIn, 39% therm and 1% em...an invul/omni not the best setup. 2 kins and a thermal may be better than any one being a invul. Its not that 1% EM beating you down and an invul pumps resists into explosive you aren't even seeing.

Except that the ships in lvl 4 epic arcs, at least in the Gallente one deal all types of damage.

Did Penumbra (Caldari) in a Raven. Pretty easy. The key is to always move away from Gallente blaster boats. They are not especially fast.
I just used my standard mission Raven the first time.
I've since done Penumbra 5 times now. Used CNR the second time, and Tengu for the rest.

pure eft tank figures are not the only defensive measures.

4-500 DPS tank + speed tank with an AB is perfectly enough for my Tengu. I did both the Amarr and Caldary epic arcs 4 times and did not have to warp out once.

When you guys say you did it four times, do you mean that you had 4 different alts accept the missions, or can a single character repeat the arc?

can repeat it every 3 months
