Well here is my setup: 
High: 3x Small Beam II + Radio II (for best range) 
Medium: Remote Sensor Dampener II + Tracking disruptor II + MWD II (or can fit 2x RSD II + MWD II) 
Low: 3xCPR (or 2xCPR + Small Repairer II - if u have good ENG skills) 
So it is VERY good vs enemy interceptors and frigates coz they have low targeting range. If fit 2xRSD II u can even keep youself from hitting against cruiser. Tracking Disruptor II will help if they will shoot on u. And MWD II is good coz inty's always trying to fly at u. 
P.S. Better to have Sharpshooter at 5 lvl (for max range of turrets) 
P.S.S. Bad i can't disrupt their warp

besides, you don't have to use an inty for PVE, there's also PVP in the game :/

So, should a Mal get armor/Rolled Tungst or not? I've seen people post about Curses not agetting armor, but I they are more of a close in fighter and need the maneuverability.

Oh, and Mals may have 1 more mid slot, which is sweet, but they have tons of lower attributes and even more importantly, a lower speed. C'mon, this is an interceptor - built for speed. - - - - -

I setup mine like this: 3x Dual light Pulse Laser II + Scorch+Conflag (radio+MF if tracking is not enough)
1x 10nmn MWD II 1x 7.5km scram 1x webber

My Malediction Fleet Tackler...
3x Dual Light Pulse II, 1x 'Arbalest' Rocket Launcher OR 2x Dual Light Pulse II, 2x 'Arbalest' Rocket Launcher
1x 1MN MWD (named) 2x 7.5km scramblers (named)
1x Micro Aux Power Core 1x 200mm Rolled Tungsten 1x Small Armor Rep II
The idea is inflicting -4 scramble in a package that has a couple of nos-resistant highs and 1000 hp armour, giving your heavy-hitting friends plenty of time in which to kill the target. Considering the Malediction costs 8m straight off market and has that 4-3-3 layout, a tough fleet tackler is exactly what it should be.
I have been using it in this role since interceptors were freshly out, and have found a web to be of little use. Small fast ships eat Maledictions, but it will pin large targets nicely.

Anthough I do love the look of this ship, its a pain to fly, its bonus really needs a chage.
I like nos, nos keeps me alive, so a nos bonus or another turret bonus would rock.
Thoughts?

I'm just a little cofused. The ship says it gives a bonus to *MISSILE* EM damage. Does that include rockets?
anyway....
I've got the following setup and it works very nicely - gives good damage and cap remains fairly well intact.
2x Gatling Afocal Light Masers / Thermal and Kinetic crystals 2x Named Missile Launchers / EM missiles 1x Phased Monopropellant Hydrazine Booster 1x Named Webber 1x Named Jammer 1x Power Cap Relay 1x Named Armour rep 1x MAPC
It was a squeeze but I liked the idea of missiles over rockets. EM damage to strip shields (I encounter a lot of Caldari ships)and the turrets to chip away at armour and hull. I like close range combat so the Mal is perfect for me.

But anyway, to the topic at hand.
I have been looking for advice on how to fit this little beasite for fleet tackling, and have come up with a couple different ideas for the mids and lows, and decided I would go with:
Mid: MWD2, Named 20km warp scramble, named sensor booster. Low: Sm Armor Rep 2, 2x named CPR
For the highslots I am at a loss tho. I am not expecting to be any kind of damage dealer with this ship, and am focusing on scrambling at a longer range in order to stay away from SB's and blasters etc. so I don't want to fit Nos. as this will require I get too close for my planned method of engagement. I was actually considering putting a couple small remote reppers in the high in order to patch up my buddies between engagements (I know this sounds crazy, but really, I do not expect to be dealing much damage with this ship).
Maybe someone can come up with something else that would be good to put in those high slots?

Though my setup is simular to others here it is
Highs 2 Gattling Pulse lasers with Conf Ammo 2 Arbi Rocker launchers with Pheonix rockets
Mids Cold Arc (MWD) much cheaper than tech II Named Web Named 20k Point
Lows Nano named small rep EANM II
I target the enemy and mxd 1 cycle then go into an orbit. All mods/gunns can run without ever loosing cap. Its a really cheap ship and rarely mis the tackle with it. With that nano it will about get you out of any mess you might get into also.
BTW I really do like this ship over the crusader. Though the crusader is a much better interceptor the lack of the 3rd midslot kills it for me.

what about AC's?
Seems slightly more sustainable, and looking at the bonus's.....you trade just a little damage for easier fitting, better tracking, and sustainability....

This is mine, this has survived alot, and i have only recently got the t2 mwd
Highs: 2x Rocket Launchers (best named) 2x Dual Light Pulse II
Mid: 1x 1MN MWD II 1x Disruptor II (24k) 1x Scramber II
Lows 1 Nano II 2 Overdrive II
I get over 5.8k/s with this, and it can soon bolt up to that speed. The only thing i may change is the scramb for a web, but its useful for stab noobs >.<
Have the correct backup, and this is the tackler to use!!!

Med: 1x MWD II 1x X5 Webifier 1x J5B Warp Scrambler ( You CAN'T run the 20km because it eats your capacitor... )
Low: 1x Small Armor Repair II 1x Capacitor Power Relay II ( Not always needed, you can always fit a hardener or nano ) 1x Micro Auxiliary Power Core I
Solo: First of all, Malediction is crap for solo...
Only use a Malediction in a gang otherwise its useless because I shot one in 3 hits in my rokh  ( Just use 2x remote sensor dampener II so he needs to stay at 7.5km to target me then web + scamble and just shoot ) But interceptors arent made to fight against bs's :) ( If ur fast enough you can stay out of tracking speed so nobody can hit you )

With this fitting you can run my MWD and a web and a 7.5km to start the fight. When your at range put ur MWD off and just use your guns and web + scrambler and orbit the enemy till my gang members shoot them. Try to ask your gang members to bring some tracking disrupters, does wonders for me 
PS: My signature went from 28.0m to 158.4m when i use my MWD does anyone know if thats to much difference in damage taken to let my MWD on while orbiting?
PSS: You can convo me ingame for discussions or improvements :D

RE: PS: If you're planning on leaving your MWD on then forget about shooting cause you won't have the cap to sustain guns and run your rep when needed. Course I don't run rigged right now so some CCCs could change that a bit...
If only your target is shooting you then your sig won't matter too much at those speeds cause he won't be able to hit you, but without a tracking bonus you won't be hitting him much either... maybe try 2x rockets, and 1 or 2x NOS if you're gonna leave the MWD on.
Also, it can eat your cap, but if you're just going for tackling maybe swap the web for a TD yourself, cause with the MWD on you won't have much trouble keeping transversal with anything other than another ceptor. (I don't have quick fit on my PC at work so dunno about fitting or cap sustainability)
I run pretty much the same setup as you, but I usually solo hunt things that I count on not having a web All in all I prefer the sader to the diction but I've been having lots of fun in the diction lately. |

I payed around in EFt the other night (this may be off slightly, consider droping to cold gas mwd or acom rep if you need more grid to make it fit).
3 * RL II 1 * gatling pulse II (scorch)
MWD II webby fleeting scram (or T2 9km one if you prefere)

catch em, web em, hold em at 9km and pop em :) I'm hoping to get some 1v1's vs setups like this when im flying my rail ranis. Very tempted to train for it if it works as well in space as it does on paper.

Look at all the slots you have, resists, etc. You can set up a pretty decent anti-inty malediction, give it enough tank + cap mods, tackle + MWD in the mids, all close range.
I've got a decent setup for this on the test server, still testing it, but looks promising
