The constellation I live in is in the 20% so I don't give a ****. All ccp are doing is eliminating the possibility that a 0.0 dominated csm will arise in csm7

While I realize what CCP are trying to do, this is not the way. High-sec should not be more profitable than no-sec no matter what the true-sec for a system is.
-1 true sec 0.0 > -0.X no-sec > low-sec > high-sec (it's not that complicated really)
On a related note, the entire true-sec feature is a bit broken and could use an "iteration".

My next sanctum will be my first but this seems like an extreme change.
Bots/macroers/cheaters are what's wrong with EVE, not sanctums per se.
Now, if you were to remove sanctums from 20% of nullsec and maybe add a 10 minute respawn time, that would be a more reasonable nerf. But I don't see what the urgency to nerf is when you haven't dealt properly with bots/macroers/cheaters yet to see what results that effort will have.
Of course, if the data shows that non-macroing non-bots are making truly sick ISK farming sanctums, then I'm ok in theory with you doing something. But I doubt you have the data to support that conclusion and even if you do your 'fix' is far too extreme.

The only people I see here are the cry-moar nullsec whinebears who are going to have to actually fight for what they've got instead of napping with every single corp and alliance within 50 jumps.

You'll notice that the Northern Coalition is well represented here. If this goes through, many of them will be locked into ****ty space with blues all around. This would be a huge blow to the north, thus, anger.
There's no such thing as overkill, only degrees of effectiveness. |

Perhaps we could get some more nullsec players in this thread rather than highsec station spinners trying to dictate 0.0 policy without ever setting a foot outside of Concord guaranteed safety. Also for that matter, could we get the very simple realization that nullsec != the NC. The NC is only portion of nullsec, EVERY nullsec alliance will be drastically affected by this.
If this passes, then smaller alliance who somehow do have 0.0 space by the graces of being renters or pets of a larger alliance, their space won't even be worth having. You remove the ability to upgrade space and ONLY the largest alliances will have any chance at wealth. This move is completely contrary to CCP's obsessive romantic ideal of "smaller alliances will live in nullsec!" which is never going to happen under these policies.
As for highsec players, you're jealous that nullsec players make a greater income than you? The distribution of wealth in the game should be tied directly towards risk, where it's nullsec > lowsec > hisec. If you have a problem with mega-alliances and coalitions that make "nullsec too safe", then you should strive to generate game altering rules that break those apart, rather than hurting everyone else. This change is hurting the wrong area.
I'm not even a ratter. I'm a miner. But I know that this is only the first straw in removing all of the Dominion upgrades and tying them directly to security status. Next it'll be the mining belts. You're taking nullsec space and making 80% of it worthless again. All flames aside, this is not the goal that CCP has in mind.

When said "lost ships" are BS's and the like they probably wouldn't have implemented this plan. But when you have recent fleet battles with hundreds of Cap ships and Titans clearly this is something ccp didn't want. I wouldn't be suprised if Cap ships in null were more popular than T1 frigs in empire....Besides the change will encourage more fighting in null which is good. There are so many undercover carebears in null who put up a front that they are init for sov warfare and pvp yet i've seen so many of them no-lifing pve related aspects of the game in null. IMO these sorta carebears should be flushed out...go back to missioning in empire. Oh and i really don't mind bumping this thread because i know it won't affect anything :)
