I have a cruiser and a cargo hold full of missiles, now I'd like to go hunt some other player, perhaps ransome some miners or go head to head with any Frigs that are wandering through .4 space on a mission.
Trouble is I am having trouble tracking people down... I can see where they are in space (amount of players in space glow ball thing) but there seems to be no way of finding just whereaboust in that system thay actually are...
Tips anyone?

So it looks like I really need to wait until I am BS equiped before I go down this line...
Read the TFT document on PVP. That was cool, but I gather not up to date yet.
Tried using the scanner, but it brings up nothing even though themap says there are players in space. User error I know, but where...
In the meantime I am in .4 space hunting the belts for anyone who looks like a viable target and while I am there I kill the NPC pirates who in .4 space give a reasonable good cash reward and some pretty naff loot.
I've only had one PVP experince (I wont count gate ganking because it was over before I even knew it had started >me dead) and that was in a belt, I was snooping around and this Frig just attacked me... So I locked on and blew him up... I got the taste for it then... But I know this player was a noob and he attacked me, probably for a laugh. Next time I probably wont be so lucky...
So, are there any Pirate corps that are worth joining? I mean ones that have mature players and not players who would shoot me when they get bored...

Okay, so I have a blackbird and a Cal... Which is best and what sort of load out should I have to go picking on these miners and mission seeking frigs.
Lastly.... where near Derelickt is good for this type of hunting?
Went out today and snooped about a bit, but I still couldnt get a handle on how the damn scanner works.... Anyone got a like to a thread or a website that can explaing this to me
I scanned today, and by adjusting the angle and turn the viewpoint I picked up a ship, but there seemed no way to use this info... Right clicking on the target ship will not give me a warp to option...
I'm missing sometthing? right?
Oh and anyone have the name of noobie friendly Pirate corps?

Noobie to being a Pirate - that sort of Noobie friendly...
I'm looking for a corp that are cool, wont rip me off and dont want me to mine, like hunting either NPC or PVP...
Tolerant of someone like me who want to get into PVP but has no experince at the mo'
