I am in there for 10 minutes. webbed down by an MWD Alvi frigate Scrammed by another MWD Alvi frigate and I havee 11 Battleships pumping 550 volleys at me. Yes, I lost the HIC. Think about that CCP. I have been back in your schizophrenic game for 2 days.(check the account) Doing missions from a Mining agent and you guys barf that down on me. Nobody wants you to make the game easy or a push over but think about that. Its a game, fun, relaxing. Does that seem fun and relaxing to you? Does that seem fair to you? Does that seem balaned to you? Risk Vs Reward? 1200 LP and a mill reward for that? I'm sorry. You guys are just pathetic. Is life at CCP that boring? That you need to **** people like that?

That you need to **** people like that? 1) coming soon agent divisions will be reworked to ONLY give mission types within their division (i.e. all combat, all mining, etc.) 2) Mining mission? Really? You're probably the only person in EVE who does them, but power to you I guess. 3) I'm pretty sure I know exactly what mission you're talking about. You triggered every single spawn instead of clearing one spawn branch at a time. Read the mission guides so you know exactly what to expect. eve-survival.org is a favorite. 4) They didn't really go out of their way to screw you. They just set a path that takes some preparation and research. The way they are going out of their way to screw you is by making sure that what you are doing right there is the most profitable PVE you can ever do in EVE by giving anything that actually pays well to their best friends. 5) the reward for rogue drones isn't cash and LP. It's the loot and salvage. And yeah, rogue drones missions suck. You didn't have to actually accept the mission though.

It started with 4 cruisers, they popped quick, then the scram came in and by that time I had to warp out the Domi that I had with it because it was carrying the BS dps and was going down. I wasn't expecting to warp back to the Devoter, not 90 km away. Why people would even try to excuse bad coding like this is stunning. The game is so nerfed in to oblivion its sick. We are forced to sc** the bottom of the barrel now and still get gimped. I was doing mining missions. The only combat asset I had in the area was the devoter. It tanked glorious damage. It did damn good. The Devoter was not the issue. The broken missions are.

It's me laughing at you, not CCP. edit: as of now there are no pure "mining agents" although that will probably change with the revamp of the division system. NOT CCP 1. PVP Specialised Combat Heavy Interdictor, with bonuses to PVP stuff... probably could have picked a better ship. SAC, ZEALOT, ARBITRATOR, PHANTASM, PILGRIM, NAVY OMEN, HARBINGER, PROPHECY, ABSOLUTION, ASHIMUUU, all would probably have been superior choices for various reasons. 2. Ship Without Drones in PVE equals a lot of fail for when you get webbed and scrammed and frigates fly under your guns etc. Let this be a learning experience for you to take the right ship for the right job and basically not be a bone head.

Your appeal to the masses to support your trolling and griefing isn't going quite the way you xpected. Sorry that didnt work out for you. In EvE you go skim-read a very brief overview of what to expect and how to handle it in order to win any battle with only a loss of ammo to show for it. Fun, such fun. ACtually good sir when you play most games what happens is you come up against something unexpected and you die in a fire. You then restart the level or whatever and try again, learning from last time. So how is that any different to what happened to your stupid HIC. Did you think the warp disruption bubble would put the smack down on the rats? Do you think it's pathetic DPS and average active tank would hold against the swarms. Guess not. So next time it comes up try and different ship and tactic. I'm sure that's what happens in pretty much ALL games. But in your case, you died...and you think the game is stupid because you are dead, in your tech 2 expensive mission ship. Next time why don't you use an Interdictor, or a ceptor or something you know, really PVP specific for PVE. EVE Survival.org is useful, but it isn't actually required to do level 4's or any combat missions. Probably 95% of the missions I learnt to do myself from just doing them and paying attention. Just like you learn much about mining by DOING the activity.

The Domi left when it got over tanked and was removed from the battle with a static warp in point.

Probably hundreds of players complete that mission every day. It is far from impossible to complete, even without reading "for hours". Thousands of people are capable of killing scrammers and webbers and warp out before they lose their ships. It is also quite common that you will land on a certain location when warping into a deadspace pocket - if your second ship arrived far away from your first ship that's because your first ship moved that far away from the entry point. The fact that mission running is widely used to make ISK efficiently suggests that it is in fact too easy and you losing your ship was actually your fault. Missions are "broken" but not in the way you describe. They are "broken" because they are far too predictable and easy. I'm not sure what you actually expect because you don't say that. But not every combination of ships, equipment, skills, experience and missions will result in a success and there's nothing wrong with that.
