I'm quite happy with this, I think (and if I weren't--OH HEY, can be changed any time now! for freeee). Seems fitting for a Minmatar character, even though the portrait capture turned out a little meh, looks like a small compression issue. Had a bridge piercing in as well, but it looked a little off to me, like the texture of the metal wasn't quite right and the bar seemed like it was not the right size and possibly starting to reject  And I wish the only choice for septum jewelry wasn't a horseshoe, a pincher would have been awesome (maybe).
All in all, I think this is probably some of the most realistic rendering of scars and by and large, piercings and tattoos (not to mention skin, etc.) that I've seen available in a video game. Impressive!

Heh... I'm still a tard at PvP but for some reason I like to spend time in Placid to take a mental break from high sec. We haven't, however, met in *that* way (did have several "how am i still in a ship?" type calls with your corp, though haven't ended up in a pod or a new clone... yet  ). It's all fun times.

Oh wow, that's certainly one of the better looking female avatars I've seen. The tatts/piercings really make all the difference
Hopefully server render should improve the quality a little bit.
heh, yeh I thought it'd be a cool idea to put all my faces side by side to see how things change

I went through maybe 10 station re-customizations but it defaulted to the first recustomization.
The last one was really good... but after clearing cache and logging in, I don't see the newest one... just the old one.
Is there a limit?

Yes.. thank you on the tats n piercings, and the station menu to adjust portrait at will, CCP.
Add some more! Namely Industrial piercings in the ear, don't forget the vert style ones too (and bars shaped into lightning bolts!). Horizental or vert surface piercing between the eyes. I could go on, but these two would be icing for me. Thanks for the vipers n labrets.
If we could somehow have custom tat makin', even if basic.. would be nice.
And tats, clothes too.. with corp or alliance logos/insignias would be a cool touch for some characters I imagine.

I struggled hard to get a picture of my char exactly the moment she was blinking, had a perfect shot on my comp, and yet the char server picture is not blinking. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CCP.

At fanfest they actually talked about working on scalable and stackable tattoos including customisable full sleeves etc so should all be good (they actually had some footage of it so it is really wip atm)

There is a hour delay on getting the new portrait. Assuming no backlog on the rendering server.

If you select "Don't ask me again", you won't be asked again but the offer will still be valid. You can clear the suppression via the ESC menu if you do want to be asked again

what about the camera issue, which reset each time your position when you recrustomize ? it's a pain to always have to have a screen of what you want to do, and hope to be able to...

I love the new feature too, but unfortunately I can't use it. I was able to do my initial character customization after the first patch, thankfully, but now my entire system freezes every single time I try to use the re-customization from the station. 
Have a bug report open, but no luck so far.
I hope it's fixed soon because i'd like to take a better portrait and make some small changes!

If you use a clone body it's going to pick up scar's just like your original. Wear and tear happens. Now those scars may be in different area's on different clones (or a clone may have none at all), but that only serves to justify being able to tweak these things whenever you like. The same goes for tats.
Having poor eyesight does not necessarily come with age. I have worn glasses since I was a young child. Cloning technology is not the same as genetic alteration.
It has been well known and documented that the technology being developed for WOD was also developed with EVE in mind, and that it would be applied here before WOD release. This is what is known as a WIN/WIN situation, not a rumor.

go repeat highschool biology and when you are done show me where scars and tattoos are part of your genetic code.
While you are using this vast intellect you've illustrated also explain how any society capable of doing what Eve contains cant fix something basic like defects in eyesight (something we can do for nearly everyone NOW.)

If only the advnaces in controlling emotional faces , posture, are movments etc were focussed on instead of "realitic' features I'd really be happy with incrana.

Would there be any chance of a full sculpting available? The character looks slightly different in CQ than in customization.
