im thinking field command mainly, but any will do.
im looking at trying to buy an astarte/eos pilot but was wondering which ones people like.

gah really? that actually sucks, i love the brutix hull and really thought itd be fun to bring an astarte/eos along with alliance fleets.
how about for the future? IF hybrids get a revamp, they might be in a better position? :P
id love to make use of em, but maybe its not such a good idea if theyre that bad.
whats so good about damnation?

hmmm. this is interesting reading guys, most appreciated.
im getting the feeling that if i want to fly an astarte i may aswell fly a brutix as its a LOT cheaper and fulfills a similar high dps role. (though maybe nowadays that isnt the case? lemme know)
im not skilled enough a player to be flying around solo in expensive ships, or with pricey implant sets in my head.
it seems like the way forward is amarr and minmatar command ships then.
i think ill still shop for a gallente toon, as i love alot of their ships (mega, myrm, brutix/astarte, taranis, lots of others) and just have an astarte for fun and giggles. hell, i guess it wouldnt be too hard to crosstrain minmatar, then i could use cynabal etc anyway.
ill have to give it some more thought.

can you make t3's into good command ships? (ignorance is bliss here) i had looked at proteus, but was wondering what it was actually good for? ive heard snippets about it being good for covops ganking, but i really dont actually know.
also a t3 hull plus SS's is like 3x the price of a command ship hull, which might not be good for my wallet :P im ok with throwing 200m around, but not 500+
