I read in one of the EVE wikis that if I use FoF missiles in high-sec, I get CONCORDed.
Is that true? Like if I'm at a mission site, and the silly missiles randomly hit the acceleration gate or something?
I haven't tried it, and in fact I think my main has only injected the FoF skill but never even trained it to level 1. But with the recent changes to rat ECM, especially Guristas ECM, it might be worthwhile. But is it? In high-sec?

I have used fof in missions with no problems, only time you might have a problem is if your not looking and a ninja looter pops in and gets aggression, not even sure if that would cause the fof's to target him but might be worth looking out for.

I use FoFs quite a lot, their main problem is they waste time popping all destructible structures. They do not shoot ninjas (i tested this with an out of corp alt) and do not agro npcs.

FoFs fire at anything targeting you. The risk in getting CONCORDOKENED is if you turn them on when you are being Remote Repaired. Just remember, you do have to activate the modules, they are not passive. Also, if anyone targets you when it is active they are a valid target for the FoF, so if you see someone you don't know turn them off. And tell friends not to target you, as if they are not in your corp CONCORD will come for you with a vengeance. The only other downside is that they aren't as powerful as their manually aimed counterparts.
Note: It does not ask if you want to proceed with a hostile action when shooting at a player or neutral structure, so you do have to pay attention. It will also shoot targets you lock.

They are structures that are destructable, i.e. any of the structures that are not invulnerable.
Apart from the sarcastic response, check out the link in my sig for a more in-depth discussion of FoF missiles and their limitations.

Just saw this. Everything that is marked on the DB as destructable and is red or neutral (inc. destructable structures and ninja looters aggressed to you) will be fired upon. What gets hit depends on it's proximity to you. -------------- Fix the game's last broken weapon system - support if you care!
