No Problem at all :)

http://www.eve-search.com/stats/Ji%20SamaJi Sama gained some early notoriety with his 1000 billion ISK offering but instead of being discouraged by the less than stellar response he decided to learn form his mistakes and launched Tash-Murkon Prime Industries half a year later. After falling victim to Bad Bobby's Titans 4 U scheme and suffering from another default Ji Sama decided to close down TMPI but vanished from sight before completing the share buyback. The investors' response to this default was unusually mild (and late). Ji Sama is a real-life acquaintance of Caleb Ayrania (and Rhivre is Caleb's girlfriend) and it is knownGäó that all scc-lounge visitors are actually Ji Sama alts. There is a character ( Childeric III) the control over which has not always been clear and may have been shared between Ji and Caleb at some times (I remember looking into this issue in 2009 and at the time I was unconvinced that Ji really had controlled that character throughout). Many of Ji Sama's alts listed in his bond threads have been biomassed, including the "Antiquarian" character (which is easily confused with a prolific forum poster known as "The Antiquarian"). If you like conspiracy theories the facebook page linked in the TMPI thread will lead you to some hilarious posts (on ATS and similar sites) by a much younger (but recognizable) Ji Sama. That's pretty much all there is to know. If Ji Sama has hidden alts that he played on during his absence I would expect them to be hidden somewhere in plain sight. None of this was relevant or proves anything in particular.
Nobody cares Ji. They're all gone. Anytime you want to play another game of musical chair bonds so that you can be left holding the bag again, please let us know. |

Update: Currently around 4B have been paid back to investors. Investors totaling almost 20K shares have been contacted, and have responded. The plan is to allow investors with below 3001 shares to be allowed buyback from Monday the 1st of October. Thank you for your patience and positive feedback.
Currently there is no plan on what to do with the excess ISK, or what deadline should be set, but I am thinking at least 3-6 months, before donating the ISK to some charity. |

As I said I am still willing to devote a few hours to look into whatever claims about ji Sama you might make but instead of providing information that might be of use in such an investigation you chose to biomass your character.
I don't understand why you would not be interested in giving credence to your claims but I acknowledge that this doesn't imply they are wrong (maybe the list of Ji Sama's secret alts is just too large to fit into the margin... ).
My own motivation for interfering in this thread are as follows (no particular order):
1. I have talked to Ji Sama a few times and found him to be a very likable person. To my knowledge I did never conduct any business with Ji Sama and did not invest or advise other people to invest in any of his offerings.
2. The basic claim that (paraphrased) "Ji Sama played on alts while he was supposedly absent" is in my opinion not especially outlandish. I am pretty sure I am not the only person in the history of MD who has done something of that sort
3. Yet I don't see why this claim warrants investigation. Whether you didn't pay your debt on time because you played on alts, because you played some other game or because you were busy doing real-life things doesn't change the fact that you didn't pay your debt on time. When someone didn't find any opportunity to pay his debts over one-and-a-half years the issue preventing him from doing so is almost certainly a lack of motivation rather than any physical/RL constraints.
4. I believe that debts should be honored regardless of whether the creditor is still actively playing the game or not. The trend set by AATP, EBANK, et al is worrisome and the interests of inactive players may be underrepresented due to obvious reasons.
5. It is natural that the MD community is happy about every "lost" face that shows up again and brings back memories of old times and hope for the future. It is also understandable that investors are happy about any ISK that they had already believed lost but might still regain and tend to be very lenient on the debtor as a consequence. I understand concerns that MD does too easily forgive defaults/delays of this sort - Kouryusei's return and disappearance being the most recent example. However, I don't think this thread is the right place to voice such concerns - at this point nobody knows if Ji Sama plans on leveraging his "MD reputation" ever again and there is nothing wrong with showing up to pay old debts.
6. Ji Sama's flirt with discordianism requires me to take a completely agnostic approach towards the truth or falsehood of any statements of his.
I won't have access to the game client until September 17th but I will see what I can do digging around.

Now that you have let me know that any such endeavour would be fruitless, that nobody cares and that my alt's Ji Sama's reputation is already damaged beyond repair I can safely leave the teapot at home and stop posting in this thread. in other words [because sarcasm is hard and trolls are annoying] - there is no way any research of mine could have resulted in a result that is beneficial to Ji Sama.
The outcome would either have been "I haven't found any secret alts" which is exactly the point we are at right now or "I have found a character that I believe to be a Ji Sama alt for reasons x & y and which has been demonstrably active between spring 2011 and summer 2012". "Ji Sama is cleared of all accusations" could not have been a possible outcome as demonstrating the absence of a needle within a haystack is not feasible.
For the same reason Ji Sama has no sensible way to react to these allegations and the burden of proof lies with whomever that makes such accusations (-> Russel's Teapot).
However, I have no reason to waste my time if even those who support the claims against Ji Sama show no interest whatsoever in seeing them substantiated and am happy to get out of this thread. Bye. Back to the top....
It has become increasingly difficult to get in contact with some of the smaller investors, if anyone knows some of them, please give them a heads up. If this fails, I will open up the buyback for shareholders with less than 3001 shares, starting Monday 24th september.
Currently I have around 20B ISK in liquids, and I am hesitant to use them on the market, should they be needed for a buyout. Assets are valued at 30B+ atm, so I will have to use some of it for trading, if I am to honor the 300% buyback.
So in short it still means i'm around 70B short :)
Again a thank you to all the investors I did manage to complete they buyback with. You support means a lot. |

I went here to see the original conversation. In particular, the series of responses starting at #35. Ji Sama comes back out of nowhere to "repay" his debt incurred as part of a walkaway scam and to people he is surely aware are no longer in game. Very odd. |

Hello Historical Research Advocate / GOTMYEYEONYOU / KNOTENUFLUV
You have made your point, you are kinda undermining it though, when you continue to create alts, and use them to harass me in this thread.

Holy Cow!
A Ji Sama sighting!
I am just recently back myself, not that anyone cares. Except maybe Brock. He cares.
Everyone told me you were all sad about T4U, (I was sad too, but then it got funny), and quit forever.
That's cool of you to come back and offer buybacks, especially after so long. Brock, for the 1000th time, Im not really Dutch! |

Wrong , setrak's impact was small in my opinion.
He has been screaming the same crap for years ever since he got scammed himself- hell even bored of that crap himself to the point where he biomassed chars a while back -without result and now all of a sudden it worked ?We allways had people like that , names like yougotripped or riethe come to mind.
What did change was that people who invested big amounts in uncollateralised loans like Raw23 and myself for example have stopped investments or eve as a whole. With that the usuall jump on the bandwagon collapsed and people seem to be afraid to think about potential risks for themselves. Also with the low rate of people doing audits it became a pain in the ass for potential loaners to get an audit done in a decent time frame.I think VV was the only one left at one point.
Investments have become utterly boring and leaves the lill man with no colleteral only one option to grind for it himself.Wich ain't bad btw as i also allways did it myself and it is more satisfying at times.
BUT this is a o// welcome back ji thread so let's finish it with a
