I think the nebulas ruin the game graphics. The real space is not so colorful, and it's annoying. When you redo the nebulas please give us also the change to hide them, if possible.
Thank you
also please make space darker.

Yes, but it's forum moderators job to move threads or he would be unemployed. Besides we pay his salary, so we expect to get service. I posted here cause it would require me few more clicks to change forum.

Sadly English is an insufficient language to properly characterize your level of stupidity.

We are on topic, this is general discussion forum, not features and ideas. If you want people to take you seriously, take a moment to post on the correct forum.

Thank gawd for adblock. Now, if only CCP would put a mechanic on the forum where if enough people blocked someone it would mute them on the forums...

I'd advise you to check out the following. It's not because space is so boring from the viewpoint of our solar system that you can extrapolate this to different galaxies/solar systems. Who knows, maybe most of the Eve systems are located close to the center of one of the galaxies, in an enormous nebula or close to several stars that recently 'popped'.
Oh look, color!

Hubble telescope takes photos of incredibly tiny objects at high resolution. Eve players start thinking the majority of space is drawn with crayon.
inb4 "Nebulae are light years across, they're not TINY HA HA NOOB LRN2NASA" They're tiny from thousands of light years away you muppet. That's why you can't see them. lrn2see.
inb4 "But I want to be right so bad, I'll say literally anything I think I wish was true! Like errr the atmosphere stops us seeing the nebulae!" You're still wrong, space is mostly inky black with stars in the distance. I'm sorry. lrn2lrn2.
Space is black. The overwhelming majority of it consists of absolutely nothing at all. Get over it.
The only realistic argument for vomit nebulae in every system is "Because I like it" and that's no more valid than "But I don't like it."
1 simple check box is all we need. Vomit space, Black Space.
Though frankly, I'd take a radio dial that I could set to "Commodore 64 Elite". Because I'm similarly unimpressed with suns that seem to shine with the kind of intensity one normal reserves as the last thing a suicide bomber might see.

If I wanted realism, I wouldn't play a game where a 15000-tonne cruiser can slam itself straight into a structure and merely bounce off.

While it is the wrong forum the topic is not, "Take it to the right forum". If you don't like it use the report link. Else, stfu and stop being trolls. CCP has resisted all notions of selective graphic display. For myself I suffer a visual handicap that has difficulty in dealing with extreme contrasts. So having to always make sure that my view is swung system outward (away from the sun) to be able to see anything else is quite annoying. Either that or angling to make sure my ship (or pov focus) is occluding the sun. Having the option to "always occlude sun" would be unbelievably nice for someone in my situation. (Lens flare is pretty and if not for the actual physical pain it causes me I'd love it.) Equally, while warping through a system the occlude/unocclude Sun stutter effect is, quite frankly, an outright epilepsy hazard. Another contrast problem is some of the localized gas cloud nebulae effects in various spawned grids. (Not to be confused with the galactic background nebulae.) Those nebulae have some sort of "increase" intensity attribute which compounds luminosity depending on how many are "perspective" stacked upon each other. "Thinning" the client any has been summarily rejected however. Of course so to has returning to the old forums as well.

Space is black if you stop down your aperture (or iris) not to get overloaded by the light from close-by stars, planets, moons or other large light-emitting/reflecting objects.
If you don't do that, though, see the clip above.
Oh my god ù it's full of stars. But yes, nebulµ would mainly just be dots, indistinguishable from the sea of other dots. But it's a sea none the less. In fact, I'd say that a much bigger problem is how prominent the suns are in each system. They should mostly be dots as well, albeit slightly bigger ones than what's in the skybox. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Completely agree with this. In addition, perhaps CCP could make 0.0 nebulae-free.

Who gives a sheat about realism. Black space looks good and is easier on the eyes. ...
