The difference is that in EVE lots of things called Griefing are allowed by the game rules. I mean if someone manages to infiltrate a corporation and trash an entire alliance they can do so and its not a violation of any game rules as long as they do so via legit game mechanics.
Which is why while EVE is a great game, always treat that undock button like you are going to Philadelphia... Watch your back and carry a gun.
