Hello,
what i ma looking for is for a Remote Target Painter. I searched but i could not find such module. If i want to do Remote Target Painting (ie enhance a friend's ship with more Signature Radius for his rats) how could i achieve that?
TIA

+1
But then I thought about it...
1. Target 'friend' 2. Activate Target Painter 3. Signiture radius 'improved'

Seems my question was not understood.
Let me rephrase that then. What equivalent module (if exists) should i use, if i want the friend's ship not to use a Target Painter to help him enchance his ability for his rats signature radius (ie, not him having to fit a Target Painter in his ship)..

You can just fit a target painter on your ship. Your friend will also benefit if you target paint the enemy ship.

Or, your friend could broadcast the rat he is shooting, and you light it up for him? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edited by: Loyal Stranger on 29/04/2011 12:50:07 Yes target painter fitted in my ship will be an option, you are right.
What i am looking for if there is a way to directly enhance friend's ability for that, not me having target paint each rat. For example, a Remote Armor Repairer repairs target's Armor, or a Remote Shield Transfer. I was looking at Remote Sensor Booster but this just increases the Scan Resolution (Bonus).

Nope, no mod exists to boost your friends TP. Also consider using TP drones.
Drones or a TP on your ship TP'ing rats are the only ways to do it

If they're using guns you can look at tracking links. Oneiros can do bonused RR and such links in one. |

Have him fit x2 TPs and bring shield transporters to help keep his tank up.

Only thing you can do to improve your friend's torpedo damage is to stasis webify targets. Or target paint them.

For that, you need to fit target painters. Or possibly webs. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

You're over-thinking this.
a) If you target paint the target, the target's sig size goes up. Thus your friend (and anyone else shooting at the target) will benefit from the target's increased sig size.
b) If you don't want mount to TPs yourself, you can mount the 'Information Warfare Link - Electronic Superiority' gang assist module to improve the effectiveness of your fleet's target painters.

Does the increased signature radius of the target painted rat show in the Overview?

No. That overview column is static and should never be used for reliable information.

Launch 5 Target Painting Drones and set them to assist your friend? They should light up whatever he decides to shoot.
