Any chance we can get these two missions changed? I like the immersion of the NPC's setting up a blockade and/or setting up a gate camp but it's becoming far too common for morons to either:
1. Attack your spawn 2. Steal your loot.
Now, I can put up with the 2nd one because the loot is crap anyway but the first one is really annoying. Today I was trying to test out my Typhoon setup but after warping out to let me cap recharge a little bit, I came back to find 2 idiots had killed one of the Pith Destroyers and now all aggression was focused on them. This made it stupidly easy for me to complete the rest of the spawn.
Can we please please get these moved?

totally agreed...
I had a blockade mission once in oursulaert... it attracted one mega sniper bs which took it's shots only when the bs was on structure, and a total of THREE loot thieves in frigs...
so, on that mission, I did all the tanking, got the bounty for only one of 8 bs's, and got zero loot...
was well angry... It would be simple enough to move these missions out to 15,000 km from the gate, no?

Yeah it sucks. I got these sort of missions quite oftne and there was a guy having nothing better to do than camping that spot and killing off everyones mission spawn.

yeah this totaly ****es me off about level 4 missions near gates, id like them to make it possible for you to attack anyone going aafter your loot or shooting your mission rats, would make it more interesting.
Oh well will just have to make do with doing missions in low sec space.

They should make loot can spawns only accessible for gang and/or corp members.
So what if some dumb ass wants to warp in and kill the mission spawns, they get no bounty and no loot. Would be a waste of their time

Or how about the bounty goes to the person that has done the most damage to the rat in question?

I agree about the problems with this mission .
Funny: Did this mission this morning and since I knew about the problem with loot-stealers I had my alt picking up the cans , I blasted away and had 1 cruiser and 1 BS left ... but as usual.... bzzooom a pesky thief came and went for one of the cans .. "****! that guy want my loot" ... 20 secs later he goes BOOOM!! The pesky thief had tried to shoot one of the ships in the spawn and got owned by a Cruiser  I picked up his can , whoop it had a 5th overseer artifacts amd 100 Zyd + rare armor hardener .. heh , cool!
Back to topic , its a nice mission but somehow people shouldnt be able to shoot/steal from the mission runners.

SIGNED. Plz get rid of these missions near gate/belts, where some1 can just "warp within 15km" of the loot can. There's a guy in Rens that does nothing all day but look for these type of mission, and the sad part is, you can't do anything about it.

Sorry but if we started petitioning for all morons (or the ability to demonstrate just how much of a moron the average guy around here really is) to be patched out of this game, who would be left?
It's stupid enough that the presumably immersive blockade starts at 100 km from the gate. Wormhole? Nah, just one in the head.
Would it perhaps make more sense to place the mission at a decorative non-fucntional spawned jumpgate away from the standard routes? Of course it would. Which is exactly why it doesn't get done. |

Not sure if this is really the case or if I just got lucky, but the time I pounded on someone in empire space, Concord didn't warp in and blow me up until after I'd podded him. There was actually time for me to warp out after my missiles hit, but I was also tried to lock his pod, so... I lost a caracal and a little standing... :P
