Hi.
A quick question on building a Rorqual in a Wormhole as I canĘt find solid info on the subject.
I have an X-Large ship Array anchored in my POS with all the parts to build the ship inside.
My question is:
Where will the ship get delivered to after its finished cooking? I always assumed I would need to buy a Capital Ship Maintenance Array but after looking into it you need Sov to anchor one.
Will it get delivered to my X-Large Array in packaged form? Then assemble, then Launch?
To test this I placed a packaged Myrm in the array, assembled it and right clicked on it. There was no option to launch the ship into space. So I would like to clarify what happens before I go ahead and set the ship cooking
Thank you.

you need to move ships to a SMA - you need to anchor a SMA close to your ship array and drop them in there. if you can get a packaged ship into another ships cargo hold - you can just eject it into space and it will assemble. if it is over 20m m3 you cant use an SMA - but have never flown anything this large. ships over 20m m3 can't dock either as far as i know.

Concurring that this is all true, I've built two. You have to have room in the X-Large ship array, then assemble it, then move it over to the Ship Maint Array. Then you launch or board it, and enjoy the 25% more profit you get from mining!

I advise making a dedicated SMA for the rorq, and setting higher permissions for accessing it. No matter how much trust you have in your corp, something that expensive should not be left lying around.

you can put any capital ship in the SMA ( no suppercaps)
there is only 1 exception and that is the freighter
for some weird reason a freighter does not go into a SMA once you have it in space you can move it from the X-large assembly array to a SMA to launch/board it but it wil not go back in unless they changed somthing in the last few updates

I have the same question but we still need to build the Capital Parts first.
What Production Array is neccessary to build all the Cap Parts, i.e. Capital Clone Vat Bay, Capital Armor Plates etc. ?
Thanks

Component Assembly Array for all parts used to build the Rorqual. Equipment Assembly Array for all parts mounted onto the Rorqual (i.e. Industrial Core).
