Kyden Gallente PWNT-Inc.	Posted - 2011.05.08 22:40:00 - [1] This past month I made medical history by having the US's 2nd full face transplant and the worlds 3rd. It has went very successful. The only downside is the hospital's fire wall is blocking me from connectimn to eve...I was going to use my recovery time to make isk in eve, pvp and just basically pass time by having fun in EvE. I can't even connect to Steam or Windows live so I am stuck watching movies on my hard drive, which I've seen most of them... The only fun part is the IV medication I'm getting which makes me very loopy, and would also make making isk in eve feel less tedious. The IT guys wont even help me access any game median. Totally effing blows. I'm stuck in this place for another week or two w/o any games to play. None of my new pictures will be released until later this week or early the following week. All I cam stay is that it looks amazing, a lot better than the pictures you will see in the above links and articles. I saved a girls life to look like the way I did She was struck with a high voltage wire (10,000 volts, 7 amps) which I got her off of and then got hit my self and still managed to stay alive to share this wonderful news. Just to let you shallow people know, mean or disrespectful comments om the way I use to look will not bother me one bit. Thank you all for taking the time to read this amazing news

LoL. as of right now its more like a hybrid of the donor and myself, but as time goes on and the swelling goes down and the new tissue conforms to my bone structure.. I will look more and more like myself. I love medical science, 10 years ago when this happened to me a face transplant wasn't even heard off. I basically had full thickness burns to me entire face...worse then 3rd degree!

He got out and basically left his gf and I for dead in the truck. When she got out her foot came in contact with a wire, which I managed to get her off then was struck my self with the 10,000 volt, 7 amp line for about 5 minutes until I got pulled off. I'm very lucky to be here let alone see, talk and hear. The girl had burns to her right foot, but it I got her off so quickly she didnt sustain to bad of injuries. I took the main jolt and somehow got grounded out so it held me. lol on the sister comment!

Posted - 2011.05.09 00:27:00 - [8] Thanks to everyone for the speedy recovering wishes, It would go a lot better if i could access all of my mulitplayer games..oh well though I should be released Monday or Tuesday and the hotel I'm staying at gives me full access to every game I own. Sorry for the ****ty typing but I'm on some very good pain meds lol.

Pretty much, but we lost contact a few years ago and I have a few media agencies trying to track her down at the moment. Hopefully they can find her, I know she got married but I only know her maiden name.

Don't know if it sucks to be number 2 as you get no where near the attention as the other guy, but then again you get better privacy and at least your eyes still must work if you are playing this game. This is one of those things that CCP should really do an article in the news sidebar as I and everyone else in this game is wondering whether to congratulate you on your successful operation or for being the most epic troll ever. The odds of this are even more amazing then that Olympic medal guy during the last games. So If you are legit, 10/10 for awesomeness of surgery success and heroics. If not legit still 10/10 for literally the best troll I've ever seen on the forums for managing to get all these people to congratulate you.

It has went very successful. ? So you got your own real-life re-customisation? Doctors playing EVE character creator for reals? What if they get it horribly wrong, is there a reset button? Sign-up for a VPN service, such as StrongVPN, should get you past that firewall. I recommend going VPN on any public network, regardless of security or firewall issues. And best of luck, chin up (hah) and all that stuff. I agree that shooting people with a headache in the head is a good idea, because it will stop their headaches.

Good thing it was a bad grounding, or else you'd be dead. Good luck, I hope you'll recover without complications. Btw... telephone pole? 10kV? Makes no sense...

OK just kidding. I hope you have a speedy recovery. Thankfully you did not lose your site and as one who has also been zapped and nearly struck by lightning I gotta say "ooh that must have hurt!" It's also good to see, for once, the medical establishment actually do some real repair work on people who really need it. It's usually newer and better ways to suck the fat out of peoples asses while those with real problems are neglected. One question though, this transplant thing, do you have to take anti-rejection drugs indefinately? Does the new skin ever become "yours" over time? I think CCP should give you a free makeover for your character too, just for the heck of it. :)

Did any lessons learnt from the first two cases help the surgeons do a better job with you in any way? Were there any problems with the operation, or with infection or rejection afterwards? You say that your face a present looks half way between yours and the donors. Have you seen a picture of the donor? Are you on the fentanyl lollipops? (I've heard they're the business) How the hell did you manage to get fried for 5 minutes though? Were the others just standing around watching for all that time? If so, then I'd say that makes you entitled to take possession of their first born children. .
