SK33T FL33t provides a penalty for failure.
I get all blubbery when they beat me to my god-granted bacon, but I am really enjoying Incursions regardless.

Drakes and Ravens with not a Ballistic Control Unit in sight?
The site is yours when you applied more damage than the other guys.
Total damage = time x DPS
If they're in there for less time than you, then your DPS sucks ass boy.
IMO any fleet joining the fight late and out damaging the other guys deserve twice the payout and a medal from CONCORD along the lines of "This capsuleer isn't a great big pansy and can fly a ship capable of hurting other ships within an hour."

TBH I like it when a gang warps in on a site I'm already doing. Cuts a few minutes from the time to finish it and they have yet to steal one from the gangs I'm in.

sk33t fl33t, They have number 3's in their name instead of letter E's, which makes them totally awesome, well endowed, and not at all emasculated by their mothers on a daily basis!

And while I agree that competition is great(and fun)..nothing like a race in an incursion :) There are some players that are new at this game/incursions/combat, and want to get involved, but never get asked in incursion chat to join a fleet. They must make these so called "fail" fleets just to play the game they pay for. Should it be a requirement that they need to be around a year or so so that they possess the skills needed to fly a couple incursions? Hell, if these guys are so l33t, why not fly the numerous low/null incursions that never get touched by anybody (with a much higher payout I might add)...or right, that might be a dangerous challenge, rather than taking on some toons that have been around all of 2 months.....
I say keep up the whole competition thing, I have had a few races with other fleets which ended in a gf in local....but if you jump in on some OBVIOUS new guys just checking stuff out....move on man, they will be there for a while anyways, and there are plenty other sites to clear and respawn.

Have to say; i'm enjoying incursions much than I thought I would, they get better with time, along withyour ability collectively to know what to shoot, and when to shoot it.
Every FC has their own style, some prefer the exciting blitz for 8hrs, which is pretty fun tbh... competetion spices that up further. Some prefer to use low SP chars/incursion rookies as they are more immeadiatly available.
I personally prefer the former, as your isk/wallet ratios are astounding when you knuckle down for a proper day of it.
You're left with a blinky wallet at the end worth several billion isk, just from 1 incursion, although some are happy with just a few hundred mil.
Overall it's pretty good, and am happy with the moaning, happy with the blitzers, and tbh happy with the griefers, cause last thing you want is a fortified isk making machine in eve ^^... otherwise it become Incursions Online... and that would be terrible.

First of all, Sk33t Fl33t is a product of BTL's constant, tiresome, failed "quest for political power". If you want to blame anyone for Sk33t's rogue attitude, blame the power hungry fc's that are trying gain a political foothold in the incursion community and don't care who's back they stab or toes they step on. As long as BTL and the armor fleets are trying to throw their weight around, Sk33t will be the brick wall they encounter. If you don't like competing for site's, then my advice is when you see a Sk33t fl33t on gate, find another gate.

Well, it does allow incursions to stay up so we can keep farming sites, otherwise armor comes in and pops the mom.
