In before CCP! So how many bugs will await us fellow Mac players this time? Will there be a Mac client at all? Questions, questions.

Logged in - server up and running. Patch size was 11.5 MB
Relocating mission ship towards new Jita area agent. 20 jumps. Standing of 9.9+ towards old agent located at a semiremote highsec system useless now. Grinding ahead. |

Dude, if you have so much trouble with the Mac Client, just read back your own posts, why are you in the Empress name still here!?

Because I'm not out of ISK yet. And there's plenty to learn what not to do as a software company. lol
P.S.: Just earned some millions. I can station trade Jita from my new mission hub now. More Jita trading! Cool!

Originally by: Vanturien the black screen is back. When I quit eve and restart it later (with or without hybernate) a black screen appears. Only a restart of the mac helps.
It's my impression CCP fixed some stuff when it comes to restarting the client after getting disconnected and the like.
Once you get that black screen check whether there are any stale leftover EVE processes still running from the old client and kill them prior to restarting the client, e.g. open up a terminal and try:
ps aux killall cider killall wineserver killall -9 cider killall -9 wineserver

Originally by: Vanturien an do you notice some odd behavior of the corp chat? It 'rebuilds' often, which makes it flicker and stealing focus from other text input fields like notes or mail.
Check whether you've got some "set chat channel focus" shortcut set [to space?]. Delete it.

And there's iTunes.
And I still got a surplus EVE client spawning in parallel after regular DT shutdown.
It'd be so easy to write a little shell script wrapper.
