Given microtransactions coming this is just another sign of CCP going downhill in terms of gameplay and vision.
Truly sad that I can now see the end of my 8 years playing Eve. 4 accounts lost, hope you can make the losses up with your microtransactions.
Bring back being able to check someones standings ffs!

Hehe, the issues CCP refers to is the rage of the playerbase. The damage done to gameplay is not the issue for them, its only the screaming on the forums. The only context CCP has for working with customer feedback is PR, not actual game development.
The "more information" forthcoming will be something along the lines of, it's not a big deal.

It takes a week? And here i thought it'd be easy to go and ask them. Guess you'd have to leave your office and go to theirs or i dunno use a phone.

Don't want to rain on your parade, well actually I want (if I could)  , but you should try to look up a thread about a starship contest, CCP Spitfire said something like "Infos requested and coming up to this thread as soon as reasonably possible. " and it took him/them only, what was it? 78? days to sort things out.
