I thought I read somewhere on here that I could.. though, that night I had read through something like 14 pages of threads and there's no way I'll find it again.
Can I anchor a POS at a moon that has a station? and if so, how close can I be to the station?

nevermind.. apparently you can.
I found out I can only anchor if I'm near the warp-in point though. I flew to the station, set up bookmarks 300m, 600m and 2km from the moon and when I tried anchoring the CT it said "You can only anchor this structure near a moon"
A bit odd. I would have really enjoyed having our POS 150km out from a station though :) Would have been an added bonus being so close to a moon because of the look as well.

Hmm interesting, does this mean you can effectively stop pilots from using the station by setting your pos to kill on sight?
I wonder how long this would be allowed to stay?

I think it has to be at the warp-in point to the moon which is never near the station.
I tried setting it up right by the station, 150m from the station and even 2.5k away from the station towards the moon and got the message "This must be set up at a moon".
I don't know if it's the range, warp-in point or the fact that a station was so close. I would have spent more time finding out but it took me forever setting up the POS.

That is correct. You can only place POS at warp-ins at moons, and that is NEVER beside a station, stargate or anything else, just the moon...
Was hoping for the same myself, but after some testing it was apparent that it wouldn't work... :(
