Simple question. If the answer is yes, then could you explain why? (Please don't let it be because of black paint that will be sold for Aurum...)
If the answer is no, then could you please explain why the new sacrilege is brown?

I'm worried that you may be right, which is why I created this thread. I was hoping for an immediate "of course not!" response, but taking this long to respond means that they either a) have to check to make sure before they respond (which is not a good sign), or b) are keeping quiet and hoping this thread disappears and people forget.
I for one will be keeping this thread on page one as much as possible.
Also, I fully encourage people to ignore the "that's not the Sacrilege" trolls. Even noticing their existence just feeds them.

I feel like the Legion and the new Maller have a layer of skin missing, they just don't look Amarrian, they look nothing like the rest of their ship lineup.
I completely agree, hence I felt the need to create this thread. The Legion was excusable because it was a brand new ship, but now the Maller has lost its majestic look across all variants.
So the question remains: CCP, do you plan to change the aesthetics of these ships?
The new model is amazing, but please give it the proper "Amarr/Khanid" colours.

The following ships are at risk of losing 90%** of what makes them neat:
- Sacrilege (already ruined)
- Heretic (not very nice to begin with, so really CCP can only improve this one in the future...)
- Vengeance
- Malediction
- Anathema
- Curse
- Damnation
Please, CCP, don't 'uglify' the coolest ships in the game!!
Please, do improve the models, but don't take away our black/silver colour scheme!

It's not so bad, nobody even flies the Heretic anyway, so how could you know?
Really though, CCP, I would settle for a simple yes or no without any explanation at this point. What is that, five or ten seconds of your time? Then maybe I can stop worrying about this and do something more productive with my life!

The problem here is not manpower, CCP has been replying to other threads and consciously ignoring this one. I understand that they are busy with the patch coming up, but this is a specific and easily-answered question about a part of the patch.
CCP can take the time to answer trolling threads about Dust514/Sony, but not this one? Come on...

I just logged into the new Singularity build and the Sac paint job is significantly more black. The armor plates have a distinct metallic-silver sheen and the hull itself is nice and black. 100% sexy.

Pics below. The system lighting wasn't perfect, but I think you can see the difference (especially in the ship preview)... I'm perfectly happy with the ship appearing somewhat brown in a brown/red system.

While those may still look a little bit brown, I encourage you to compare them to this original.
The difference may seem minor depending on your eyes and the settings on your display, but if you compare the two screens from the ship preview window (old and new), you'll see it.
