Farewell JQA. I will always have fond memories of you, despite the bitter ending. At least we went out with a bang, and didn't die slowly over a long time.
Respect to our old allies. I hope we can put any grievances behind us now.
Respect to our local pirates. You guys knew what you were doing. We may have had our differences, but you made my game more interesting.
Respect to Supremacy. You are gracious winners. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

The dream has come to an end. Now it is time to wander off to another dream. GG Supremacy. I want to thank all the JQA corps and players for being true friends. JQA will be high in my memories. Most of the true memories of JQA can only be remembered by it's ex members(and perhaps the xUSTA corps ) R.I.P. JQ Alliance. ------------------------- These are my views and don't necessarily represent my corp nor my alliance. |

I can honestly say that the fights with you all were the most fun I have ever had in game.. It was so much fun and I thank you for it. I smack tons of people in this game but you all will never be one of them. I respect so much that you even knowing you were out of your league as far as experiance goes would always' come and fight and stay till the last man fell. I think that you have more heart and desire and actul grit than most of the people who say they are PvPer's and hope the best for you all. Sorry we had to meet like this but then again it was the best experiance in eve thus far for me.

I feel sorry for JQA loosing its dream, but I also feel proud for SUPRM to win this war. We have gained a new home and are looking forward to a bright future, lots if veld(!) and plenty of campaigns against numerous and honorable enemies.
To all that still have a dream, there are other nowadays dead alliances whose corporations still dream of a better place. Maybe the future will make it possible for the bravest of us to build a better place, where pirates are pirates, battles are honorable and fun and mining is profitable and used to fund prosperity, technology and a large army ;)

Respect to all the JQA pilots who fought for their home.
The two battles in VV at the start of the war were the best I've ever been in.
Best of luck in the future.

Over but not forgotten.
Exactly One week after I was born into EvE, my corp (Shades) moved to JQV from a 0.1 system and within a few days the alliance was born.. I can proudly say, I was there at the start, and there until the bitter end. JQA has been my home for 14 months and it was a sad day indeed to have to leave, but in the face of overwhelming force there were few options. But JQA space, will always be JQA space to me, and one day, I will return to the place I know as home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hate people who turn their back on their friends just so they can keep mining roids. Alliances are ruined by corps who decide that sucking roids is better than losing your home. I'd give those corps in lower syndicate about 2-3 weeks before the big dogs bring in some of their old CA buds and toss the treasonous xJQA to the wind. Its obvious that the next group that comes in to take over the serfs from xJQA will side with whomever wins as long as they can keep sucking roids, pathetic.

SUPRM give their word and mean it.
Those corps who accepted the agreements did what they felt was best for their members, just as the JQA leadership did what they felt was best for theirs when they turned down the offer which was originally made.
*shrugs*
There will often be people who decide that money is worth more than their corpmates. And also those who feel that fighting is worth more than their corpmates wellbeing.
It goes both ways, and those who aren't strong enough to dictate will be the ones who are dictated to. It's the way of the wild.

On this subject, I'd just like to say I think that this is EVE news worthy. The first officially recognised alliance has officially disbanded - not even CA, FU, etc have done so. --------

at last I thought.. a flame free thread.. alas tho.. there's always one :(
Anyway, well done to suprem.. as much as I don't like to admit it, you had us outgunned and outclassed.
Thanks to all those that gave a damn about JQA, it was an honour to fly with you.
However much Arboc is maligned, he genuinely cared about JQA and did more for it than the vast majority of people. He also got me into pvp, taught me many things, and I'd like to thank him for that.
My thanks also go to crisis for doing the job that nobody else wanted or was willing to put the effort into. Also for sparring with me, for teaching me and helping me to become a better pvper, I'd like to thank all the Navy pilots, particularly Number One, Caldire/Mockingbird, Nache, Lore Isander, TFU and Loomina :)
Finally to my friends in JQA.. see you in space, keep in touch and don't hesitate to ask if you need my help. As for my enemies, it ain't over until I've had the last laugh :P

It's sad to see JQA go. When I lived in Syn space they were the type of neighbors you wanted. Kept to themselves, fought like mad for what's theirs but good honorable people. It's nice to see that this war was fought cleanly and honorably with so little smack. I wish all the JQA corps the best of luck.

I wish you hadn't posted here, Tyrrax.
Your unrentless hatred for all that JQA did after the small incident we had with you (which we apologized for) doesn't have to soil this farewell thread. Go gloat somewhere else. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

Edited by: Lady Evelyn on 16/02/2005 10:02:46 well i wrote out one f*cking long thread for here last night, only to have my virus filled computer (been away for a few days and my brothers have messed it up) deleted the entire message, i nearly cried.
simply. Crisis, was the cement that hold the bricks of JQA together, without him, we wouldn't have made it to the big battles of vv-vcr in the new year.
to all xJQA corps, the very best of luck, with your future endevours, whether or not our paths cross again. (with the exclusion of TFC, your backstabbing was further more painful than 3FA's)
to 3FA, your help in the begining was great, together i feel we could have beat off supremacy, obviously you guys did not, great to fight with you, whilst it lasted.
to enslaver, your last comment i feel was nothing more than flamebait. yes JQA was the first officially recognised alliance to be closed. But we also did not abandon what we believed in, we stuck it out to the end (*lady evelyn looks at the alliance history of Supremacy)
To supremacy, i have an incredible respect for you guys, your dominance was un-ending, i could not think of a more deserving foe, to loose to. Always you guys will have my respect as, probably the best PVPers in eve.
GOOD LUCK TO THE XJQA

I have been a member of JQA for 2 or 3 months, i must say i've had some good times and most of it was because of all the great members it had. I'm glad that i found those people and was honoured to fly beside them in the last few battles. It has been a pleasure.
Thanks to all navy pilot's and other people i flew beside. ============================================= (\_ (O.* (> <) This is Bunny. This bunny was mutelated because a hunter shot this defenseless animal in the right side of the head. |

I must say that the great VV battles were THE best ever for me. I was in many battles with CA against Xetic, SA, FA, Norad but that was simply amazing. I don't know anyone in my corp who didn't enjoy them. Even if there was some hot blood involved in the folowing conflicts I blame this solely on this game since it depicts RL situations better than any game I know, which is a + in my book.
My hat is off to you JQA for putting up a fight above and beyond all expectations and for admiting defeat in a honorable way that is so rarely displayed here on the forums.
May our paths cross again either as allies or enemies, it will be fun eitherway.
My words are my own and do not represent the views of my corp. |

And so the fat lady sings.
I remember saying once in the JQA forums that, even if the war was to be lost, there was still something to be gained in being remembered for sticking to our guns and doing our best against the steepest of odds. I'm glad to see that this appears to be the case, and I'm proud to have been a part of it while it lasted.
To those I knew in JQA, I wish you all well, and by all means keep in touch. To SUPRM and friends, congratulations on your victory - enjoy your scordite. And I don't wanna hear any stories about you guys pirating innocent neutrals. You don't do that sort of thing anymore, remember?
There are many memories I stand to take with me - the VV fleet battles that got us into the news, the destruction of no less than three pirate POSs, as well as the countless smaller skirmishes against raiding pirate parties (mmmmm, bounties...). All fantastic experiences.
I am downcast, I am broken, but I am now free...

GL for the Future xJQA. I speak for all of R-K when I say the fights we were involved with against you were some of the best we've had ever. The sheer determination and passion you fought with was enough for you to make it on to our respect list. ---
