So thought i might try here seeing as all you people are having some minor/major issues/problems
that CCP logs will show are not happening: P
How can they say there is no proof when they have known issues like this ?
All i want is my ship and fittings back so its not like im scamming them : P
Why are they even bothering changing **** ?
I call a vote : ) let them tell us what they want to do then let the players decide if they want it or not.....

I'm experiencing a number of bugs already mentioned, but I didn't see this mentioned yet.
If I open NOTE PAD for the first time after logging in it opens and works as it should. The problem is, If I close it and try to open it again, say 5 mins later it completely crashes the game requiring me to CTL+ALT+DEL out and shut it down via window task manager.
This has occurred a number of times to me.

I definitely think CCP should reimburse you for the ship. It didn't show on the server because it's the client that's got issues. CCP provided the faulty client and thus should be well within the reigns of a reimbursement. And if anyone finds something in the EULA to contradict that statement you can shove it, because I'm not talking about by-the-book justice, I'm talking about common sense.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not. when in the scanning window you used to be able to hover the mouse cursor over the bookmark to see what the bookmark is. this no longer works and the only way to see what which bookmark your looking at is by going to "edit/view location" . would like to see this back to the way it was before the update. thank you |

Actually, that was the subject of the very first post in this thread...and still not fixed after a couple patches so far.
MAJOR pita for WH dwellers...plz prioritize fixing broken BMs in next patch CCP.

tranqulity online and offline downloads are broken, been trying to download since yesterday and get same error
corrupt files, repair tooll dosent help, anything i can do to fix this? im a noob, i pay for a game thats suposse to easy to install adn play. 2 days ive lost to issues with downloading clients.
comeon CCP give me some answers pls

The capacitor is still too hard to read. Please can you either make it solid, or give us a transparency option in the menu.
It's still impossible to read in certain lighting conditions.

On PC,the chat windows are disappearing,client crashes,when trying to download client it says it's corrupt.
When running multiple clients the game does not work well at all it's very slow.
Please at least tell us that there is someone who is taking care of it.

Several patches later and every ship I pilot still flys backwards! Wrong/right place for this? Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

I also had the bug where my speed gauge was stuck at about 3/4 and said "warping" even when I wasn't warping. Obnoxious, but not nearly as obnoxious as having the same thing happen to my shield gauge, stuck at about 90%. Before I realized that this is not just me doing a surprisingly good job tanking evil Gurista pirates, ship went boom. Yes yes, "if it seems too good to be true" etc, but since I've never had this happen before and didn't even think that something could be wrong with the shield gauge, it didn't occur to me to review the situation prior to becoming a pod

Crashes when auto-piloting while tabbed out of fullscreen are back after optional patch #2 :-(

I can't connect to the game from yesterday in the evening... game is saying "checking status"..."status Unknown" I CAN'T PLAY and i continue to pay i never had this problem before 1.6 deployment, I had the obligation to give my private account informations to a friend to change my skills.

My client keeps crashing my computer for no good reason now (my computer shuts down, not just the eve client). Anyone else with the same problem? I'm worried that this will damage my PC.

yea, i had something like this happen too. it turns out it was lag, but in my case, the reppers were on, but they were not repping, but i seemed to be connected.. so just to make sure (well, i kinda panicked cuz i couldnt fix it) so i disconnected. when i logged in i was at 30% hull. pretty sad really that people are losing ships due to client bugs and 'our logs show nothing' its bull****. i just cancelled my sub.

yes it will damage your PC, and CCP will not be liable. it probably has something to do with your hardware configuration. either it is too dissimilar to what they are developing on, or doesnt meet some of the specs, but ive had some complete lockups too since 1.6, although only about once every 3 days, which is still bad. this is not acceptable behaviour.

I've no idea if these niggles have been reported yet, but this is my two penn'orth...
1) When listing My Assets according to number of items, the list is now in ascending order with the largest number at the bottom, instead of descending order with the greatest quantity at the top as it used to be.
2) The Wallet and Market windows are no longer brought to the front by a right-click. It now requires an extra left-click on the window to bring it forward, instead of a right-click being sufficient to both highlight the window and open an options menu.
3) When conducting a simple Buy order, the cursor no longer defaults to the Quantity box. It requires a left-click before a quantity other than "1" can be entered.
4) When placing a Buy order on the market, if you want to set an alternative location for the buy order to be centered upon, the cursor no longer defaults to the text entry box. It requires a left-click to place the cursor so the alternative location can be entered.
5) In numerous situations (PI for example), when selecting a partial quantity of an item to be dragged-and-dropped from a list (using shift-leftmouse), it appears that on occasion some other item is (invisibly) selected and instead of dragging just the selected item, a range of items are selected and dragged.
6) On the UI the buttons have been recoloured so they fade almost to black at the bottom. This frequently makes them appear to blend into the background and is very disconcerting.
7) On the login screen the text entry boxes have had their shading altered so the text now appears to be off-centre. This looks unprofessional and just plain wrong.

Fighters delegated to Raven pilots using FOF Cruise Missiles would draw agression and attack said raven.
many hours of recalling drones and waiting out aggro timers to test this have been run through. This is a new problem.

That's bugging the hell out of me. I started a thread about this and others at http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1532527
It is logical that it default to most to least but it now defaults to least to most AND it will not sort at all for me. I can't get any of the three tabs to sort.
Here is what really kills me.... I submitted a bug report on this and the status came back "filtered" which tells me they are not even going to look at it. It did not say "attached to defect" or "fixed in next patch" etc., just "filtered" and sent to the dust bin.
I'm with you. These bugs need fixed. We need these bugs fixed more than the new version Incarna being brought out, IMO.

I tried to see if anyone has posted this problem and could not find any, but a couple of players have mentioned it in chat.
I constantly get a jamming progress bar running after any belt rats have been destroyed. There are no rats or other player ships around and although the 'jamming' does not really do anything it is quite irritating.

Dunno if this belongs here, and maybe someone has mentioned it already, but I cannot get the new character creator to work.
I had two accounts I stopped playing sometime late last year for financial reasons, and I just reactivated my main a couple weeks ago, but when I got in to the creator, it never actually showed my character; it just kept showing the little loading ring and saying updating character. I have no idea how it worked but somehow I got it to go to the portrait section, and got a picture, all without my character actually showing, just the background, and finally into the game. My character still didn't show in the window until a few days later. I also couldn't get it to work if I changed more than the clothing and the beard. Now I'm trying with my second account (this one I'm posting on) and it won't even go to the portrait section. I've tried all combinations of graphics settings and whatnot, but it just won't work, and because of this I cannot even get into the game with this character. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi, the updater recently stopped working for me, would give the above error on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. It would bring up a security window asking me to sign in as an admin account with default account name "administrator" (there is no such account on my machine). I chose an actual administrator account but that didnt work, I got the error message.
In case others have this problem, I think I found a (general) solution. I checked security settings and User Account control was off. I turned it on to max settings, which requests permission for everything. I then reran the installer and it asked for permission again, but this time it had pre-entered one of my actual administrator accounts, not a non-existent account named "administrator". Things went smoothly from there.
