I got a Loki a few weeks ago, and have completed a few exploration sites. To keep me safe I got a Interdiction Nullifier subsystem.
At first I heard in subtracts 2 points from warp disruption on your ship, the same effect two warp core stabilizers would have, or like a Deep Space transport. However the actual description says "Immunity to non-targeted interdiction". The only thing I've heard called "targeted interdiction" is a special mode on Heavy Interdictors that places 'infinity points' on a ship. Either way, this would make me immune to most attempts at warp scrambling, so awesome
However today I warped into an odd site filled with NPCs. I was getting overwhelmed quickly, but I couldn't warp away. Two NPC frigates were scrambling me and I had to destroy both in order to escape, which brought me to half hull on my T3. Mild panic.
So I'm guessing that this subsystem only really works against interdiction bubbles. Something one only really ever sees in 0.0 space. I suppose for a wormhole, if you encounter anyone or a bubble immediately on the other side, you would just leave and never come back, also with the important sites always shifting there would be little chance of hitting one. Low-sec camps obviously wouldn't have that. For 0.0 exploration is would be worth keeping though. Though it seems like I might get another propulsion subsystem.
tldr: What exactly do Interdiction Nullifier Tech 3 subsystems protect against? Interdiction Bubbles? Warp Disruptor/Scramblers? Mobile Warp disruptors?

Any bubbles, no bubbles will effect your ship's ability to warp. If it indeed adds 2 points of stab then 1 warp scrambler or 2 disruptors will stop you from warping

Darn, I'll have to get a fuel catalyst then and be more careful.

Nothing gives you immunity to targeted core disruption. Stabs can partially nullify it, but eventually enough points/scrams can overwhelm anything short of a capital ship (which is too big for scramblers to function on it except the scripted HIC awesomeness).
Interdiction nullifiers are CCP's response to people's "but running gate camps is _hard_" whining. It turns null-sec gatecamps into low-sec gate-camps, no more bubbles. ---

This is incorrect, only the Titans and Supercarriers are immune to warp disruptor/scramblers. Regular cap ships , freighters, dreadnoughts and carrier are still affected by those modules like any other ship.
The Interdiction Nullifier nullifies area interdiction AND NOTHING ELSE. One warp disruptor will shut down your warp drive if you don't have stabs. However 1000 anchored bubbles, HIC bubbles and interdictor bubbles will have exactly zero effect on you. This includes so called "drag bubbles", which normally pull ships out of warp at odd angles.
That being said, once a HIC points a Warp Disruption Field Generator with a focused point script loaded, it doesn't matter what you're flying or what you've fitted, you aren't warping off till the dictor dies, turns off the gen or gets out of range. and further more why do i even need a sig? |
