Please keep a close eye on the capacitor for ships of cruiser sizes and up. Especially those ships with weapon systems that don't require cap.
It always seemed strange to me that the faction with the worst cap technology (minmatar) have so little cap issues and are so superior hulls for cap warefare (since they have spare cap and spare high slots). Worse is that this seems accidental too, since all ships with neut bonuses have amarrian hull designs. It would be nice to see regular amarrian ships with at least one spare highslot intended for a vampire (or whatever). This would also feel natural and in line with the amarrian design philosophy. |

This all sounds really promising, and I like a lot of the proposed changes a lot. However, I'm a bit concerned about increasing cruiser mobility, since there's currently not a very big gap between the speeds of the faster T1 cruisers and the slower frigates. For example, a typical shield rupture will do around 1700 m/s on an unheated MWD, while a Harpy does about 2200 m/s under the same circumstances. If cruiser hulls become significantly faster and more agile, I'd be concerned about their potential to cut into the niche of frigates to some extent. An across the board increase in the speed of cruiser hulls and smaller ships would be very welcome, though, as a way to differentiate them from battlecruisers without changing the balance between cruiser and frigate hulls. |

Well sounds a bit strange to me:
Combat cruisers: Maller, Moa, Vexor, Rupture. vs Attack cruisers: Omen, Caracal, Thorax, Stabber
Omen, Caracal and Stabber all have just a single Tech 2 Version: Zealot, Cerberus and Vagabond Maller, Moa and Rupture have the Tech 2 Versions as HICs and also one of the 2 HACs for each race.
But with the Vexor and Thorax? Shouldn't be the Thorax be inline with Maller, Moa and Rupture and the Vexor with Omen, Caracal and Stabber? And: If i compare the Minerals you need for building these ships, it would mean (if not also changed) that the Thorax would cost about 60% then the other 3 Attack cruisers. And of course vice versa would cost the Vexor only about 60% of the other 3 Combat Cruisers.
Maybe a mistake that you changed these 2 ships in your listing ?

I cross my fingers so the new Arbitrator still will be able to operate as a mini-carrier for mission running... I play games for fun, evasion and reward.-áEVE is not fun, it sucks as much as reality and dismisses all my ways of playing it.
I think that I should unhook myself from that b*tch... Soon. |

Dont forget the faction ships, they need some love too.
With the upcomming boost for both T1 frigates and T1 cruisers, the faction ships are in dire danger of becomming nothing more than overpriced hanger spinning toys. Some **cough** Phantasm **cough** are close to this role already. |

I am also concerned about this, especially once you factor in boosts, which cruisers are much more likely to have than frigates.
Other than that, congratulations on getting me to think about flying something larger than a destroyer. |

hey CCP what's up w/ making matari ships less and less duct-tape/scaffolding looking? as time passes it makes it harder and harder to make jokes about them (which ironically) makes life less fun. These new redesigns (like some of the earlier ones before them) look like they where designed by someone w/ skillz as opposed to thrown together out of necessity.
don't get me wrong i'm amarr-loyalist and all that blahblahblah, but isn't it a bit of 'identity loss' to make the matari ships look cohesive? j/w (though i doubt anyone will respond.wwwwwww |

Omen needs a tracking bonus like crazy, especially if it's going to be a fast attack ship. If you want range, use scorch. |

Abaddonification! .. Hurray. Most pleased to have been on that particular band wagon these past years, looking forward to seeing how it performs (Punisher is or can be evil in the right hands).
Minmatar lose one of their signature junk-yard art projects and get something that actually resembles a spaceship .. why I never *hmmph* (cue complaints about wingy bits )
PS: For goodness sake Ytterbium, enough with the innuendo. Come clean already and announce that you have agreed to have Fozzie's babies .. you two are a match made in heaven/space .. best tag-team in Eve history! |
