Seems that CCP listened when we begged for the Vaga to get its ears back!
Vagabond...rebuilt!
The new Dev blog has some great details on the changes coming in the winter as well. Go have a look here

Give the Vagabond an additional 10% agility bonus per HAC level.
Give the Vagabond an additional 5% optimal agility bonus per HAC level.
it would still be LESS of a buff than this wondrous and incredible graphical revamp.
I have Minnie cruiser V. I have HACs V. I never bought a Vagabond.
This changes the day I see this thing on the market.
CCP, give the designer a raise, then chain him/her to his/desk and don't unlock him/her until all the Minmatar hulls (except the Hound) have received the same amount of love and care. |

The new Stabber/Vagabond models look great. I'm completely for this sleeker Minmatar look (Tornado, Hound, Reaper), duct tape/rust comments be damned. Minmatar ships should feel Minmatar because of the design philosophy behind the ships, not because they look like ****. The Stabber/Vagabond is sharp, fast, it's engines are an overwhelmingly large portion of the ship -- that's Minmatar.
Also, I'm curious as to where the T1 cruisers will be headed between now and Winter. I've flown the Stabber quite a bit, but a gorgeous new model and potentially better ship (thanks to the balancing) might just make me want to have some fun in it again. |

I am selling all my ships and replacing them with vagabonds. 2 months later when the hull is not new any more I shall regret that decision but I'll still be flying awesome lizard ships :P |

I hope they do not do this.
It is bad enough they took the lazy way out with the Merlin instead of fixing the problem.
I don't want to see the Moa go down that road. I want it to be a ship that is primarily used with Rail Guns as intended and Deadly with them as it should be.
If that means tweaking medium LR weapon balance then so be it. There aren't any current T1 Cruisers that use LR weapons effectively and that should be looked into. |
