Trisha Trillions	Posted - 2011.06.20 03:03:00 - [1] I'm quitting the game for many reason \o/ I will start with one reason which flows into the others. During the AT some dumb as ** ICeland dude going on vaction said he was going to be playing a lot of LoL and WoT (why would you spend your vacation doing this honestly /o\ jesus god I will kill myself if I one day am calling that a vacation) saying that he was going to be spending a lot of time on the 'business' aspect of the game and learning from their F2P models. Part of the reason I came back was for WiS. I'm still pretty ed and insulted it took them this long and how many lies they told during this time. Then it's supposed to be coming out and they're only realising 1 *ing room! The MINMATTAR ROOM WHAT* that they're introducing Aurum which will be used for microtransactions?! This is assinine and insulting and I don't find it fun at all. I have no time invested in any character besides a few months so F THAT I have to say you losers are SCREWED who are addicted. CCP has ideas which are always great and might work, but the product is always a horrible horrible catastrophe and there is no salvation in sight for any of you! Can you has my stuff? No, I already bought scamming lessons in Jita for half and gave the other away in rooki help, hopefully the poor rookie will get bored with this fame soon now that he won't have much to do. SO HOPEFULLY HE CANCELS TO! I said it, that's what I was thinking at the time also. So you guys can goo have fun and hopefully something horrible will happen which will create a great Cataclysm in which many new players cancel and this game can die.

They wanted to push this out before they got everything working for player interaction on stations. So it's kind of like a beta test instead of an expansion. This is annoying, truely, but it is just going to be like a lost expansion. I'm sure they had to pull all the DEV's to do this and make it work this much, but hey, they've been talking about this for years and they are finally bringing it out, just not all at once.

EVERYTHING in PVP revolves around this even in RvB, the Reds who are generally worse in most timezones, constantly cheat and lie all because of KB's. The way they do it is BLOBBING. <Simplification of larger consequences but the end result is the same, what do you see in 0.0 > blobbing. No one will solo no one even PVP's it's just a fight among FC's a mix between keeping people entertained/risk taking and just blob. They are absolutely for one of the biggest things which would keep me in the game. YOU EVEN SEE IT IN THE ALLIANCE TOURNAMENT meta gaming, people looking for advantages. Not the same reason for the casual implications of KB's completely but the end result is the same. People don't fight for the joy of fighting. That is one major **UP that CCP SHOULD have changed a long time ago

A couple of comments: - its good for game developers to play other games. This means that they stay up to speed on developments in the industry. - Design and development are both creative tasks. While it helps his health/sanity, it also helps the output of his work to get away and unwind. - Hammerhead had to take vacation. I've been in his situation before... its just the way of things. - While I worry about the F2P model coming to Eve... well I worry about this. For now, I play the game as it is, not as it will be. It's funny how people like them always ask what makes a game great? Then they go back and look just at the net profits. BUT the presence of an imperfect god does?... what to you, the pinge of excitement but final frustration. THE FACT OF THE MATTEr is we see them turning more towards the red and green spreadsheet i.e. end results and not towards the game.

I have more than 100 ships in 1 station, i like to spin them when i chat or trade, so that is a major part of my gameplay. Without that feature i'll most likely quit EVE after i'll get bored with 1 station interior.
