Anybody playing Eve on a large monitor?

Only using it on this monitor because i use this computer for 3D Art and rendering haha ------------------------ It's called an organized retreat. Don't know how many people know that, but blu-rays are the only thing making use of the full 1080P resolution. Exactly, 720 rez is more than sufficient on a good card with HDMI hookups. You can convert the VGA or DVI to HDTY with a simple converter connector sold at any Radio Shack.

In fact, playing eve on a 42 inch screen was quite a horrible experience, screen size is way too big for sitting at arm's length making it hard to keep track of everything going on. I guess at 32 inch it will be a little better but be prepared for things to look ugly and pixelated from the distance you're sitting at. TL;DR: in my opinion big screen is only nice if you sit at a distance and want to drool over how pretty your ship looks. It's not practical at all. Get a 27inch 2650x1440 or 30 inch 2650x1600 screen instead, these are much more suitable for general computer use and actually playing Eve online.
