Xearal Minmatar SOL Industries Black Thorne Alliance	Posted - 2011.06.21 20:18:00 - [29] I'd go for the SPs as well.. 20B or 16B in plexes.. it's nice, but I have a good income from my industry, enough to do whatever I want for the most part. 15m SP would get me ahead with all the skills I've been wanting to get on my main, like leadership stuff, drone stuff, corporation stuff, and flying ships stuff. ( I'm specced int/mem at the moment, and won't be changing that for at least several more months to get all my neato skills I want done )

In 3,5 years many things can happen.. 20M SP .. i would spend them in 10 minutes and will maybe feel the impact, but I would never be satisfied and the feeling of the effect will get lesser and then bore me. 20B isk...I could have FAR more by now. I keep it steady at 5 billion if something goes wrong...the ships I fly are expensive.

Even if you think PLEX prices will increase substantially, you're better off taking the 20 billion ISK and using it to buy 50 PLEX. As for the SP, if you have a high SP character already, adding the 15 million SP to your current character might make sense. It may also make sense, irrational as it may be, to take the SP if you're very attached to your current character. Otherwise, you can use 20 billion ISK to buy a very high SP character, easily over 50 million SP, probably substnailly over 50 million SP, unless the character is highly specialized for a role that is currently in high demand.

Isk is easy to get in this game it's ridiculous, getting to fit the best stuff with your isk isn't easy (if you didn't plan or had no idea wth you were doing (moi)).

Reason being, I already have two toons that are both over 40mil SP, I have them trained up the way I want them to be right now. Respecs and proper planning can net you 22 million SP per year. The plex gives you more options. You can dump it into PT for your current character and enjoy free eve, you can divide it up and train 3 decent alt accounts, sit on it and use it as quick cash when you need it, or any mixture of the aforementioned.
