Edited by: Lord Zengin on 22/06/2011 00:05:56 This Update simply makes no sense ... handling station routines is slowed down to a minimum but we get close to nothing in exchange? Ok, I can now see my char scratching his neck every 10 seconds with some ugly clipping errors occuring while doing so, but that should not be everything!
Sorry, but whoever gave his Go for this Release must be insane.
Oh, and btw: I still expect added playtime for DDoS and extended downtime!

I am officially labeling this the RMT-store. Its the same marketing departement that want to charge players that develop EFT, EVEMON and DOTLAN 99 USD per year for doing CCPs job. These "bizdevs" must be stoned out of their ****ing skull.

After an initial look, it was a matter of seconds before I'd turned off 'Flickering in Cubicles' (my nVidia card is neither new nor high quality, so the textures were screwed up, to say the least).
Turrets look nice. Noble Exchange is a joke, and an unbelievably expensive one at that. Spiffy new icon on the 'Help (F12)' button if I'm not mistaken.
Successful expansion?

my only comments thus far is that the agent finder feature is good, but it could use a bit more filter options and display information. this is what i want...
id like to be able to find all locator agents near me that i have access to. id like to know the population of the system the agent is located in, is the system active with mission runners or is it quiet? how many jumps per hour. i'd like to know how close the closest low sec system is to the system the agent is in. i'd like to know if there has been criminal activity in the system and or constellation, and how much?
i realize that many of these can be found using the star map but having this information in addition to the new agent finder features at a glance would really help making the right choice of which agent to use. |

1. Aurum Prices These are not only unreasonable, they are outright insane and megalomanic. In combination with "Monetizing your App" this sends a pretty strong message of Greed to the playerbase, one that at least with this subscriber of > 4 years is not well received.
2. Office
- Nice fluff, shiny, no added functionality at all.
- The provided functionality is so clunky to use,
that it will never be able to replace the old 2D menus.
- FPS is horrible on a 965BE, ATI6850 and 8 GB Ram.
- The make up of my character looks different from the editor and outright cheap.
- To be honest, the best thing about the office currently, is the ability to turn it off.
3. Turrets/Maller & Co. CBA to fly to the station with my combat ships and check. I am rather looking forward to these additions, that have something to do with, you know.. spaceships and pew pew.
4.NO SPINNING ?!"!!!"!" I do not care about the size of my characters bust. What I do care about are the shiny barrels of my lazors and my shiny golden hulls spinning, gently touched by the station spotlights.
Give us back spinning!!!

Why would I post more feedback here when you ignored all our feedback in test server feedback?
To reiterate.
Bring back the old hanger view so CQ is not mandatory on docking
give us separate graphics settings for in space and in Incarna
put the pod in a room, not on the end of the balcony
improve performance so recommended spec machines don't melt
having reinstated the hanger view, remove the crappy in space UI from Incarna and give us a proper one designed especially for it (one that works in the environment not opening windows that cover it).
make things in incarna take time, so every step away from the pod is one that has to be taken back.
the lighting sucks, if their are only a few sweet spots in which the avatar looks good you are doing it wrong, add more uplighting, and wall lighting, if you still want dark and gloomy, make the walls darker and less reflective, and then up the lighting so our chars still get properly lit,
the vanity store is a catastrophically bad idea, and the pricing is laughable. get rid of it. No to MT in eve.
give us back unlimited ship fittings
make it optional to create a new portrait when recustomising our chars, we shouldn't need a new passport photo for changing our hair.
fix the bug that means you have to wear invisible trousers under the dress
fix the camera offset so walking forwards is forwards for the char not towards centre screen (dual screen issue), and keep camera offset for zooming out. Also probably make it go the same way as the in space offset not the opposite way from in space
Communicate more, sooner, and better... you know what I am talking about. If we knew that you were trying to do here, we could have told you how dim it was before you spent ages coding it.
I would also recommend for future patches including known bugs/defects in the patchnotes, with assurance they will be fixed in later patches. That way people know before hand.
and I DID tell you so.
Also, if you remove the current only option of having a half decent dock, in disabling CQ with 'don't load station environment' is removed... I will be unsubbing. --------
By Grfmsv÷tn, Eyjafjallaj÷kull, Vatnaj÷kull, and Hekla itself... THIS is my sig.

Processor usage is on rather unacceptable level when client(s) are minized to task bar. They seem to eat constantly 25-30% cpu/each and that is not what I was looking for. Old client took pretty much zero when minimized.
Other than that CQ seems to be working ok. Maybe would like to zoom camera out and in bit further than it is now possible... and perhaps ships floating in hangar could be little lower.

Old station environment option. DO IT, NOW. No, that static screen crap can go burn in a fire.
What else... Old station environment option and i think old station environment option would be nice.

I don't find controlling my characters very intuitive, nor do they always (appear) responsive. It gives me a "click and hope for the best" kind of feel which is rather icky.
I'm disappointed when it comes to the difference in quality between my portrait render and how my characters look in-game. I'm actually disgusted by some of my avatars now.
Running multiple clients as before with CQ enabled isn't an option for me it seems, the game becomes rather choppy. That means I'm now forced to look at some CQ themed wallpaper when I'm docked, rather than the station environment I was used to. It sucks, it really does. Yes, I've read the Devblog about this. What's happened however, is that my gaming experience has been degraded.
I'm disappointed at how expensive AUR items are, which makes me worry even more about the possible impact on the EVE economy and my ability to play the game via PLEX.
Combined with me feeling more and more disconnected from CCP give the more and more frequent promotion of alcohol abuse, I find it's time for to do some serious thinking about whether I still want to play this game and be associated with it. I've been an avid supporter of EVE Online since I started playing in 2004, but I feel I'm genuinely losing my faith in the company and its flagship product.

been in game for 6 years now. this expansion has to be the biggest waste of time and effort ive seen.
qc has made this game unplayible for lots of people. for others its just an anoyance(i want the double click cargo option back ffs) for soem it will be fun for a while til they relise its pointless.
noble exchange, well here you have out done yourselves. you have left everyone with no doubt where ccp has gone in recent years. it outlines that you are trying to milk the cash cow for every little drop of isk you can get.
well done, worst expansion to date
oh yeh forgot, move the dam isk amounts in the wallet back to the left for god sake

Incarna Feedback
Problems
- Lack of hangar view (or similar) ruin both immersion and performance
- Lack of smooth believable transition between :spaceships: and :walking: ruin immersion and makes "going off the grid" trivial
- I want to enjoy incarna at it fullest (graphically) and have the hardware for it BUT when idling I don't want my GPU to work for nothing and the only way around this is:
- Disable "load station enviroment"
- Lower graphic settings to lowest (which doesn't improve performance enough tbh)
- Leave settings to max but open the map which will stop the GPU usage
None of which are satisfying
- How do my character manage to go from being outside the station naked inside her pod to be fully dressed in the latest space-fashion inside a station in 20 seconds?
I want to make it clear that I'm not whining about incarna itself but rather the implementation of it. Going "off grid" should be different than just being docked. The fact that adding an "exit pod"-button solves a myriad of problems and question from both a game performance perspective, immersion perspective and even a usability perspective makes you look very stubborn CCP. Adding such a button is a boost to incarna, not a "nerf" and I hope you realize that.

+my 2c: ] i want to spin my ship! ] thumbs up to incarna for me, i think it will be better when we'll be able to open that door to the station... ] aur price is insanely high, but i agree to keep it high, so i'll never think on having some crazy saturday shopping ] incarna on my nb w7 is doing well, since now. i'm downloading mac version on the mbp at 670kB/s (not high but, well, green bar is moving...), hope to have no surprises after 5gb of package... ] i think that's correct to find my char into the hangar when i undock (and not in the cq). i mean, it's realistic... (but may be this will get angry all pvpers-pew-pew...)

The more I look at it, the more I think they just did not know what they were doing - how can CCP completely destroy the grown UX of all these years? I understand that sometimes a big leap has to be done setting the course for the future ... but this is a desaster! U have work to do CCP!

Now my gpu is overheating even on lowest graphical settings. No actual improvement graphically in anything other than turrets and somehow my gpu is overheating when just before this patch it was running fine. What the heck did yall do in order for this to happen! I'll be lucky if I can even run a single mission. WTH CCP. WTH! ________________________________________________

Sentry drones still hardly have a firing animation. They blink when they fire, but other than that, there isn't much difference between them and a space buoy... this was the one thing I was actually looking forwards to in this expansion
