Disabled CQ after it caused my laptop to practically grind to a halt - this is a 1 year old Thinkpad T510 with 4Gigs of memory and Nvidia NVS 3100M discrete graphics. It's not so much the quality as the extra memory it needs.

Can't figure out how to lie down on the bed, and the ramp down to my pod seems inaccessible; do I need to click on something? And I tried clicking on the little orange computer panels. It looks like they should do something, but nothing happens when I click or go near them. Is there a way to "drink" from the cans and bottles I see all over the place? Or at least put some of the empty ones in the garbage? Also, the screens on the TV thing only show stuff I'm not doing right now. Is there a way to change those to something more relevant? How do I let other people into my room?
I guess I'm just not really clear what I'm supposed to be doing.

They should be expensive, but they shouldn't cost more than the real thing.
I expected most things to be around $1-2, with some cooler more exclusive things to be around $5-10. You know, like in every other game that is popular.
I'm not paying more for virtual things than the thing in real life would cost. I don't care how "cool" it is, that's ******ed. It has nothing to do with how much I do or do not have. I could get a PLEX in a day easily in game or just drop money on it NP, but I won't because it's simply ridiculous to pay more for fake crap than the real crap.

If you are having performance issues it is possible to adjust your graphics settings in the "Display & Graphics" tab of the Esc Menu.
Additionally there is a check-box called "Load Station Environment" under the "Graphic Content Settings" column on the right hand side of the "Display & Graphics" tab. Uncheck this box to replace the station environment with a static image the next time you dock (if you are currently in a station you must undock and redock to see the change take effect).

ROTFL! I have a billion isk, now what should I buy? A Carrier perhaps, a megathron BPO or a looking glass. That's just plain ridiculous.
As for the CQ - sucks the life out of an ATI Radeon 4800 (1GB) 5fps with the station environment loaded, 20fps with the station environment disabled.

Just wanted to add that I agree that at the moment the station environment is utterly pointless but this release paves the way for the bits that are going to add a real level of immersion like holding corp meetings 'in person' with the ability to give presentations or socialising in station with your corpies and playing bar games rather than sitting outside the station using the chat client.
Obviously not every expansion is for everyone. Faction Warfare isn't too most peoples taste and not everyone can be bothered with Incursions, but some people love those elements like I'm really excited about Incarna.
It's a cool expansion and I guess like it or not, its happening as its the direction CCP want for their game.

When I got up this morning and saw that the rollout would be delayed I said "Okay, I can be patient". So I downloaded the patch for my mac thinking I'd be ahead of the game. Foolish apparently, because buried in the deployment thread was an "announcement" that the mac patch did not work. Why this couldn't be added to the end of one of your twitter posts is beyond me. Very frustrating that I'm going to have to wait an extra 5 hours to play when I have a day off that I could have used to play the game. I did pay for that privilege, you know.
Mass communication is supposed to be easy on the internet, but I had to wade through 46 pages of whining to find out about the messed up patch. This is unacceptable. Next time, if there is a problem you should effing tweet it. That's what twitter is for.
PS: It would be really nice if there were some sort of in-game compensation for this BS. I've only been playing this game for a couple months, and I'm already extremely frustrated with how often the service I paid for is unavailable.

Yep, the first glance at prices and it was enough for me to close NeX. )) On the secong thought -- if that fancy $70 oculars would allow us to see something we previously didn't -- that would be nice. E.g. battle-time hit log (like in most MMOs) or +1 to Foreseeing)) or even real life outwear "copies". :) For now I will enjoy the view of my Ships (not as epic and exciting as expected though) only. Apart of all that I think there was no reason in adding another currency. Not like that I mean. Pity. I was hoping for better idea implementation...

Well why not just add a new button to switch between old station view (not the stupid static on when pressing the load station enviroment) and the incarna first useless first person view?
The shop items are for geeks/freaks and lowlives who don't have something better to do with their money. But hell good it's not mandatory to use.

ok i have foundout how to turn off station interiors... just dissable station enviroment from settings
although you will only see a bulkhead:
can you make that screen more user friendly?
maby add:
-the avatar stood there
-a visual representation of active ship (make it
interactable for drag/drop ship changes)
-the news window
-or agent finder
-or default it to ship fitting with drag/drop
functionality
any of these would be greatly apriceated by myself and others

Yeah but as u said Faction Warfare is for those who want to do it and not mandatory. So if i like FW i do it if not i stay away and don't need to bother with it. So far this Incarna thing is mandatory and i can't avoid it. That's what i want changed!

- I want to rotate my ship.
- I do not want captain's HQ which drops my second in-space window fps to 20-30 from 120.
- These monkeys which I see in captain's HQ is not what I created in character creator. The graphics quality really sucks. It's ugly.
- Have you tried playing with new turret icons yourself before releasing it? If you are used to locking more than one target, you'll have a problem determining what target you have activated your guns onto.
I'm dissapointed.

I get it, you need to pay off the cost for items.
But SURELY you didnt need to charge 60 bucks for a damn vanity item.
I have seen in other games with vanity items some costing maybe 1$, even 5$ for a highly detailed one. But....12000 aurum? damn. |

Literally like i was saying i thought this patch would be good and that they would at least get there stuff right..... so what r the new system requirements??????? asmine used to run it fine now i can even take a step forward and all that shows on my character is my frickin hair. :( not pleased not at all and to think i gave CCP prolly ú150 for a game when i could go out and buy a console game for ú40 that works 100% of the time (unless u own a 360 that is)sux balls lots

You know, I can get cheaper real pants in my local store than I have to pay for virtual pants in this store. Well at least there is no reason to worry about excessive increase of plex usage. Also, you dont have to use the term "micro" transactions.
Basically came here to make this post (sans the possibly antisemitic remark). If I can choose between ~400 mil ISK and one pair pants, I'm gonna choose the option that nets me e.g. 40 PvP interceptor hulls. Not sure how clothing is more expensive then battleships in the super-future. As it stands right now, I will not be converting anything to AUG. Please change the pricing scheme to something sensible CCP. Thanks.

Some stuff that should have been caught in general testing:
* New strip miner I effect is just a thin blue line, with sound effect of Mining Laser I. Surely can't be right.
* Strip miner icon next to the targetted asteroid is incredibly low-res.
* Angel Cartel world-sound effect loop keeps on playing, doesn't even reset when docking back at station
* Some asteroids appear with 0 ar 0 st, while others have full bars.

Impossible after dock or login fast undock, because you don't know what kind of ship you sit actually, and you need to search which ship is selected in your hangar.
But I have 60 different ships in dock and i need to scroll all the ships to find which one is selected.
It's absolutely stupid idea from ccp.
Return ability to use old view on our ships by select this settings in settings menu!!!
