This is just another example of how CCP rushes into something without testing it fully. Incarna is such bull** anyway. Who gives a crap about walking around in a stupid room. You guys really need to make it up to mac users, you keep **ting on us at every turn.

Will I have to manually install the patch that is mentioned above? Or will the client install have it in there already? Sent from a campfire using smoke signals.

It's probably somewhere in your Steam Application Support folder. However I suggest you forget about Steam and EVE cooperating. Deinstall the Steam EVE and download a client from CCP site. The login screen is not as jerky now as it was when it was not accepting the password. Captain's Quarters are not exactly smooth, but I can move around and explore. Shame you can't actually walk down and get into the pod, but maybe that will be added later. In space things are reasonably smooth. Not keen on the new look of the strip miner effect, but still good to be able to see what is being mined. I tried with lower graphics settings and it even turned off the laser beams. Which option turns those back on please? It looks weird sitting there mining with no laser effect.
