If you love the new direction the gane is going with this expansion, show your support. I for one think this is one of the best updates to EVE in years. Even though I have to run on minimum settings to be able to interact with the Captain's Quarters, I'm very happy with the immersion that it brings. The game feels more organic now, even if it is just an illusion. I feel like the foundation for something great has been laid, with Incarna and Dust 514; more than just "point-click-lol".
It's worth the hassle of a botched Mac patch. Thumbs up, here.

But CCP, consider that a PLEX could be broken down and people could buy multiple items with their aurum. That creates a deal. If people have leftover aurum, but not enough to buy another item, they'll purchase more PLEX.

Its actually nice.
I like turrets a lot, I like a lot of the smaller stuff, I even like the CQs (even more: hinting at what might come). Prices in the Noble Exchange are hilariously crazy, but i didnt want to buy anyway.
All in all, pretty decent first part of Incursion.

incara on the whole is not that bad its just the crappy station lag and pointless cq that ppl hate.
the new turrets are good and i like the new maller hull despite the fact its a crap ship.

I think this is one of the best expansions to date.
I've been away from eve for over a year, and so far im enjoying this expansion so much that i'm resubbing, for the turret effects alone!
We've had so many expansions focussing on new ways to kill things,
i think its about time we had something focused more on immersion, cosmetics and carebearieness.
I cant wait to see what they come up with next.
I think this is absoluetly brilliant.

This 1000 times. CCp's ambitions to make this a complete sci-fi simulator is one of the things I most love about EVE. I try to dabble in all aspects of EVE life on one character or another. This was something that has been a long time coming. As long as they continue to flesh it out, I believe this is the start of some great additions to the game.

Actually no you cannot. The game doesnt make it to the log in screen before it kicks you out and says your graphics card is outdated. You dont ever make it to the part where you can select to not load the station environment.

*How* can you like in Incarna? There's NOTHING THERE.
I mean it's a tiny little room with the same buttons as before. If they did something new, something that adds gameplay, this might be worth discussing.
Releasing the CQ, not to mention the cash shop, without social spaces is just pointless. Who's going to buy vanity gear only you can see? Who is going to spend time watching an info screen (perhaps the one new feature) full of irrelevant info? Making it mandatory rather than a "leave pod" button off the previous interface is insulting and stupid.
The only excuse for Incarna is them putting minimal effort to re-use WoD resources and try and make it look like they released an expansion.

Its a step in the right direction, keep working on it and expanding gameplay without ignoring all the other parts. The more different styles of gameplay the fresher EVE stays.
I dont mind seeing even higher prices for the Nobel Exchange. Really cool items should be rare and earned. Maybe even have some require capital ships V or some skill down the road. I dont want to see everyone with a monocle, it gives you something cool to work for, for the people that really want to identify with it. Otherwise everyone is going to look like Saul Tigh. Most people dont have to spend money, you can trade it for isk. Having more things to spend isk on is nice. If you tie some with skills it gives a visual distinction between old and young players, its a nice addition.

This is just a laying of the foundation for such things, that offers almost nothing to get excited about in itself. It's better than nothing, but it's not Incarna.

I love Incarna. I find it wonderful for the roleplay. it's exactly what i was dreaming of... when it will be in game... Incarna is about interacting with other players in station, so we have to wait some more months. What we have today is a pre-Incarna patch.
To the ones who are not interested in Incarna, i would answer them that nothing has been removed from their game. So for once other categories of players get content too, please understand that EVE is a sanbox game, a public game, and your way to play it is not the only one.

I can't see what all the whiners are complaining about? Sure it makes my graphics cards louder but then so do most FPS games I also play so why the tears? Also CCP can't be held responsible if you can't afford to keep up with the games industry. My advice to you if your computer can't hack CQ... buy a super carrier or Titan! problem solved, see CCP has thought of everything!

Lets hear if you say the same about eve when they take this further and start selling you ammo at 1$ per shot or specially strong ships at 300$ to give you an advantage to the poor souls who pay there subscription and train for years to become good pilots just to se that any noob with RL money can buy there way to better ships, ammo and whatever else they come up with eventually, maybe buy skill points at 10$ per 100k sp?
edit:prices are fictional, im sure ccp can figure a way to charge even more for it as compared to a monacle its rather cheapish

While i am not about to say i love INCARNA.
I got nothing against it, neither nothing against the idea be it hidden or revealed about it.
It doesnt disturb my gameplay at all, and i fully respect people who likes the addition.
No "real" functionality has been removed. Few bugs after patch, which has to be expected after any "big" update.
So overall i am neither fun nor the enemy of the upcoming changes.

I love the CQ and look forward to more walking in stations, but the NEX store must be destroyed.

Glad to see others that like the new direction CCP is taking EVE with Incarna. It'll be awesome when we can actually walk in the stations and this test bed with the CQ's is just a taste of what we can expect. I am so looking forward to this! \o/ Yeah for more Incarna!

No "real" functionality has been removed. Few bugs after patch, which has to be expected after any "big" update.
So overall i am neither fun nor the enemy of the upcoming changes.
More or less sums up what I feel as well.
I really hope the prices on the accessories are a mistake though because even though I don't want them myself I'm hoping this "WAH CCP ARE GREEDY" ****storm that is hitting the playerbase as well as computer gamers media will blow over.

By the by, for all the complaints here look at how many people are online on TQ when you sign in compared to the 20k or so peaks we've seen for a long time. Future looks bright and I can't wait to see what comes next.
Kudos, CCP! Great patch in my opinion and many others who are in the game loving it instead of lamenting the loss of the past here. Incarna is the future of EVE: Enjoy, adapt, or move on.
Seriously though... if you want to cancel CCP and I can't stop you but there's a ton of people happy and, by comparison, a handful of people upset because they... can't spin their ships? Right... to each their own I guess!
