Turned on, went to see my ship and i realized that my guy walking like Pac-Man ( CCP's way to say " we dont cut corners? ), Pac-Mand back to my couch, sat down, clicked on a screen, hoping some new and cool window will zoom in, but got the old boring industry screen.
Stood up, walked around, had a good laugh when i saw my guy scratching his head in the same time like me, like he is asking " Thas it?", and ...
... turned EVE off.
Will turn QQ off next time when i log on, prolly in a few days

actually I'm running an HD5770 on Vista SP2. there is no reason why running CQ should be running like Crysis. that is a performance goal of its own right and should not be removed from its glorious throne

Although it is nice to sit in your sofa, watching yourself sit in a sofa.. It is a performance-hog, with 3x clients running. Honestly, I miss the old static ship view, and the right-click options on the ship.
Anyway, I'll adapt. ;)

I don't really mind CQ, it doesn't do anything new currently. As a piece of tech, it's not bad, it doesn't make anything any worse and should provide a stepping stone to better things. My only real gripe is the new currency... HOW MUCH !!! That's an insane conversion rate (or price list!) Not exactly "micro payments" by any stretch of the imagination. Oh well...

Walked around and checked everything out. Meh, nice beginning for future changes. Then I thought about all the whining and crying from all the "I got more SP and a bigger gun/ship so I'm cooler", e-peen, elitist, "I'm only here for the internet spaceships" people and I smiled. Then I proceded to sit down and watch TV. Ahh, good times indeed.

sorry CCP had high hopes, but it lacks any content and reduces functionality. Its also hard to use because the UI is nearly transparent and the same color as the backgrounds.

My GTX260 overheated, started artifacting and shortly aftewards I just opened the door of my case and turned the AC on. Turned it off, and no more problems.
Is it pretty? Absolutely, well done at least. Does it 'do anything'? Not yet, but we were told it wouldn't do anything. Learning to read might help some of you more than whining.
There was alot more to this patch than just ohh a couch.
Jumpbridges got nerfbatted (WOOHOO! - hello gatecamping waiting for fun things to jump now), turret effects and lasers etc, all look MUCH nicer, hell our corp had 70 people online in an hour after the patch and we were all undocking in various ships, fits and randomness to see what things looked like.
Capital ships and turret effects ... CCP, please give that person responsible for that a week vacation in Morocco. Well done!

Plex prices spiked up alot, will they keep going? I have reports of 800mil a PLEX in Jita last night...that's almost TRIPLE the cost originally, and well yah noone can afford that ingame without their own personal moon. CCP better watch that one.
AURUM pricing, 3200 for a shiny option, 3500 for a plex. Sooo not worth it. You've priced yourself out, even the monocle while cool looking won't allow anyone to purchase it at that price needed to buy it. I'm sure you'll tweak things but right now you've completely priced yourself out of existence. You will always have the rich and stupid, but that's the only people you're catering to. Racing stripes on a vaga, neat...does it do anything? No, and quite honestly i dont live long enough in a vaga to warrant the extra cost heh.
All in all, lots of tweaking and monitoring to do I think by CCP, especially plex prices, because spending 3 weekends out of a month ratting tor whatever to make that increase in difference is a huge deal.
