I like Incarna, but I think there would be better things to spend time to.
Like new ships, more missions, better mining gameplay.
I do not like the Sims, so I will never pay Aurum to custom my character or my room. But I would pay auruims to custom my ships.

Make eve accessible to a greater audience -> make more money -> increase revenue
It's not like they can decide everything on their own. Eve is owned by multiple shareholders/investors, and in 2006 or 7 the revenue was just above 25%. With the trend of bigger and bigger revenues for investors (no, you can't stop that trend, it's a vicious circle, corporations need to cater to their investors of they scurry off with their money to better opportunities, i.e, more revenu) you just can't expect anything else. Currently, I'm pretty sure CCP's revenu is 35% plus. Guess how it's going to look in a couple years?
Guess why some corporation like "evil" EA is the biggest games publisher worldwide. Look at their games: there's like 1 bloody dungeon design that's used for all dungeons in titles such as Mass Effect 1+2, Dragon Age 1+2. Minimise production time, maximise profits. And hey, they're the most successful company, despite everyone hating them. That's how you do it.
So, stop moaning to CCP and start moaning to your politicians to change some incredibly stupid rules/mechanics of today's exchange that were introduced in the 70ies and 80ies, which basically only advance speculation, instead of investment (and since speculations usually yield much higher profits investment opportunities need to "ramp it up" to stay attractive. Did you know about 80% of today's transactions are speculations? Guess why that nice depression happened).
Oh, actually, don't go and moan to your politicians. Most of the people aren't even interested and rather moan about evil foreigners that make their life hard because politicians and the media directs them to this conclusion too (the media "only" struggle to survive too, trying to get as many people as possible to read the paper). Then, of course, most of those politicians have a very strong economical interest since they happen to be some CEO/ex-CEO, and you have your hordes of lobbyists talking to the people you (maybe) voted for. Now, hmmm.. who has more influence? The people (who themselves have an economical interest of keeping their jobs, which gets used. All the time.), or the "economy"?
Oh, did I also mention, even IF you actually succeed and the rules get changed in your country. Don't worry, all the corporations will just be forced to be listed in another countrie's main exchange.
Accept it, and have fun.
theyre not making it available to a bigger audience when all but the strongest computers can run the CQ at a reasonable frame rate. One of the reasons WoW is such a popular game is because of that point you are trying to make, it can run on even the crappiest computers.

Load up my Jita alt because my main lives in a wormhole.
Then I had a play with trying to walk around. Looked at a black rectangle before I realised it was the mirror that won't reflect anything because my graphics are on low.
Attempted to use the UI on my table, clicked at boxed that should have opened ship fittings/hanger/etc but didn't.
Logged out then back into my main.
I'm actually quite thankful that I won't have to deal with this regularly.

The first thing I did:
Marveled at the wonder before, explored the interior, tried to enter station, watched virtual tv while sitting on my virtual couch.
Then in my excitement brought the family in to show off all the new features, after a couple seconds my four year old daughter looked up at me and asked if she could play dolls with me...

My PC rig runs CQ fully maxxed out and super smooth.
After checking it out for 5 mins I turned it off.
(I'm a 2003 vet, I just want more space violence boats, not Sims in Space...)

Yeah multiboxing is a pita with it.
It's cool and all, will be GREAT for new players. I am hoping it attracts more players.

1) Walked out to the hangar area to look at my beee-u-tiful Tengu just suspended there. :)
2) Saw on the CONCORD display that that vapid scam-monger Space Barbie had a bounty on his head. :)
