Better Than You	Posted - 2011.06.23 22:08:00 - [1] I don't have it yet but I am getting close to have enough ISK to buy the monocle. My point is if a player has the will they can get enough money to get the cool shiny stuff. A lot of you just want the bells and whistles handed to you for no charge. Welcome to LIFE my friends! If you work hard and are dedicated you can get the cool stuff in this expansion. So how about you stop crying on the forums and actually go make some money. That money could be real life money or in game money (ISK). Either one will get you the means to get the monocle as well as the other stuff on the Noble market. What CCP has done is given you options to how you want to enjoy the game. Yet you still criticize them. They have been leading the way in MMORPG games for years now with player controlled economy and market. One server. Infinite political landscape. The list goes on. Keep up the good work CCP. 07 - Friendship will always trump the desire to fight!

Personally I don't understand why they broke the plex down into 3,500 AURUM if they were going to set the prices so high to start with. I think the fact they don't offer any items for what might be consider the sort of reasonable micro transaction value of $1 dollars means the exclude a lot of people from taking part especially newer players who don't have 100s of millions of ISK to spend on essentially useless items. I don't mind some expensive items, I just think it was very silly to introduce the feature with no more affordable items. I personally would have liked to take part but I think the current pricing highlights the biggest problems with micro transaction in EVE, as everything thing else up until this point has largely been controlled by the free market pricing in the NEX is likely to recieve a lot more in the way of direct feedback and critism simple because prices there are not subject to supply and demand.
